We stayed here for ome night after a long 7 hour journey from the south east we was welcomed check in was easy and room was clean tidy and pleasant. Lots of amenities around the hotel brewers fayre has nice meals and drinks also breakfast which was children free with any adult breakfast. Other places across the road are dominoes pizza mcdonald's Starbucks Asda aldi and shopping centre. Windows on the ground floor do not open. Recommend. Do not listen to others one star reviews regarding brewers fayre closing early etc this is not the hotels fault.

We were warned of building works, but they neglected to mention the extreme restrictions in the car park. I do not understand why we are always given a room on the second floor, about as far away from the lift as it is possible to be. I stay here regularly - on the last two occasions we have had the same receptionist when we arrived. She could not be less helpful if she tried. She was completely uninterested in my complaint about room allocation (I have a dodgy knee) and on our previous visit I rang ahead to arrange a ground floor room, which had a) mysteriously disappeared by the time we arrived, and b) was bluntly told 'not her problem; by the receptionist. I have been staying at Premier Inns for decades, and Bideford regularly since it opened, but PI are now seriously testing our loyalty!

Stayed at Premier inn in Bideford Devon ended up extending from 2 weeks to month and can say that the experience was spot on especially in respect of the hotel serviced and staff especially. This is the third PM I've stayed at and I like the fact they are always the same, you know exactly what to expect and what your gonna get. However I would like to say a big thank you especially to the staff there who made my stay that much better. In particular I would say a big thank you to: Janet, Garry, Heather, Pippa and Ben from the counter staff who really helped they were very friendly always had time for you and very knowledgeable when it came to local places to go for various things including food, entertainment etc. From the cleaning staff I would also like to say a big thank you to: Dawn, Colin and Layla for the same reasons not to mention they did an exceptional job keeping my room fresh and clean for me. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone I know, great location great stay and great staff!

The room was clean and the staff were friendly. Sadly there was a strange vibration in the room causing headaches and disrupted sleeps. Also the WiFi is shocking. Having to pay £5 for WiFi and for it gone slower then dial up is terrible. Until they stop charging for WiFi. They will always receive 1 star. It is 2025 and a dedicated 1gb line is £250 a month.

Well presented hotel located on the south western edge of Bideford. Modern with nice large rooms, clean & tidy and decent shower. Great prices when we stayed in November 2024 and so excellent value. The Brewers Fayre next door was really good for food and drink, including the buffet breakfast but on Saturday night the bar closed early, well before usual closing time, even though there were still people drinking. There’s a stand in reception with lots of info with numerous leaflets on the local activities and sights. There’s lots of amenities dotted around the hotel, including Starbucks, Macdonald’s and the Atlantic Village shopping centre which had a small Christmas market whilst we were staying.

Room was clean and comfy however the bathroom had hairs on the bath and around the soap dispenser. It was midnight when I checked in so did not complain at the time as I was tired and ready for bed. The bed itself was very comfy and the services in the room were all good.

I don't usually leave reviews but I feel extremely grateful for the care and customer servise that I have experienced at the Bideford hotel. As a lone female traveling and working at the Affinty Christmas Market after a very long day trading I checked in to the hotel to be met with an online error in my booking. Janet the reception lady could not of helped and assisted with this more. After raising the error with central reservations and with quite a busy quew behind me she showed complete care, understanding and problem solved the issue.I am very grateful for that as after a long day was a little stressed. THANKYOU Janet. The error was corrected with central reservations ( thanks to Janet) I then had the relaxing night that I was expecting, great sleep feeling safe and cosy. Janet's experience is an asset to the Bideford Hotel and with her customer care skills would have no hesitation in returning. Many thanks Sue xx

My daughter and I had a lovely experience from start to finish of our mini-stay: the check-in was friendly and helpful; our room clean and very quiet (218); the free Wi-fi was great and we were able to stream a film on our iPad; our evening meal and drinks at the Brewer's Fayre were tasty and great value, with lovely staff; and breakfast was such a treat - a great range of foods, all fresh, and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. A great stay and excellent value throughout.
