Europarcs Zuiderzee

We had a large camping plot for a week. This was among many long term seasonal plots. When some of the seasonal plots came back at the weekend it was very noisy and dogs roamed free on the beach and between plots. This was despite signs clearly saying that no dogs are allowed on the beach. Then some other campers arrived during the weekend and it was hugely noisy until the early hours. Loud music was played well past midnight! The facilities in terms of WC and showers were clean and tidy. The pizza takeout was good. The restaurant was poor quality and expensive with uninterested staff. The indoor pool was designed for young children as it was very shallow. My daughter aged 12 hit the floor of the pool coming down the slide. The boat hire was good and the man running this was knowledgeable and friendly. The boats were in great condition . Kids were allowed to roam unsupervised and going really fast on electric scooters across the site without helmets and in electric boats without life jackets. In my opinion this is just an accident waiting to happen and Europarcs are clearly happy with this. Such a shame as could be so much better given it’s lovely location.
