Unfortunately we arrived late and maybe we got the last room. It was expensive for what it is as the room is old style and is not up to contemporary standards. The worst thing was that there was a strong smell of body odour which could not be fixed because the windows could not be opened. Overall an expensive and really really bad experience.

I have stayed in many Radisson’s , regularly in Salzburg in Austria where the hotel is stunning in all aspects . In London I have stayed in the better Radisson’s which are very good and the Radisson Reds , their basic offering in the UK but they are well run . Well unfortunately the one In Biarritz is rated as a good one but should be in the basic “ Red “ range , and it is in serious need of maintenance, and some staff need better people skills . We stayed in the 1st week in June . Some of the checkin staff were to say the least unhelpful!! I must mention one lady , from Belgium, who had just started and she was charming. Anyway the hotel was full , and although it’s right on the sea front this is a BUSINESS HOTEL. I don’t know how many different companies were using the hotel during our stay . It made breakfast, very noisy and not enjoyable when you have a couple of hundred conference attendees eating breakfast before their meetings started . The main hotel Restaurant was closed every day for lunch and supper , no explanation and we had to find this out ourselves. Back to the room , ours was on the 3 rd floor , and a “ Superior Room “ . Getting out of the lift was a smell of fresh paint and new carpet, which was encouraging. Unfortunately our room , with a glimpse of the sea was very tired . I think some paint had been splashed around …. But very disappointed. The bathroom was very poor . The bath was so old and damage that they had actually tried to paint the bath , inside , and this was now peeling off . Water ran very slowly down the drain too . The extraction vent in the ceiling was dirty and looked as if it was about to fall off !!! I did complain but was told the hotel was full due to conferences and nothing could be done !!!! The fridge in the bedroom was switched on , but empty, with a very odd notice saying anything used or moved in the fridge had to be paid for ??? There was a roof top bar and restaurant which we ate in the first night as we were tired . Food and staff ok but as we later discovered the prices were very expensive compared to good restaurants in the town . There is a roof top pool , which I have to say was the best part of the hotel . Unfortunately one night we went up to the rooftop bar only to be told it’s closed ….. yep due to a conference!!! We absolutely loved Biarritz, and luckily the town is full of great restaurants and cafes , so we always ate out …. We loved it’s so much we are going back in September, but definitely not staying at the Radisson…… booked into a really lovely hotel … not a conference in sight!!!

We have just spent a wonderful 4 nights at the Radisson Blu Biarritz. Firstly, let me say that all the staff were fantastic. Everyone was so helpful and welcoming. I have multiple sclerosis, and I am in a wheelchair full time. We stayed in an accessible room, which worked for me. It wasn't the largest accessible room I had stayed in, but there was enough room for my large power chair to turn around. The bathroom was a good size and well laid out. The roll in shower had a fixed pull-down shower seat with all the controls nearby. There were 2 sinks. One was lowered, which allowed me to roll under easily. The only slight criticism is that the toilet was too low and too close to the side wall. Another slight criticism is that the room had carpet. It wasn't too thick, but a hard floor would have been better for wheelchairs. Overall, it was one of the best accessible rooms I have stayed in. As a matter of fact, the entire hotel is extremely accessible. There is disabled parking just by the front entrance. There are large rotating doors with plenty of room for wheelchairs. The lobby is large and open, and the restaurant is all flat with plenty of room. The lifts are large enough for my power wheelchair and my wife with luggage. To top it all off, there is a rooftop pool (which I didn't use) and a restaurant/bar ( which I did use). It's a wonderful place with a great view where you can relax after a busy day at the beach...or shopping. Sit back, relax, and watch those glorious sunsets. Highly recommended.

The hotel really needs some renovation. Everything was falling apart in our room and the windows were very dirty. The rooms are big, the location is great and staff is kind. It would have some great potential but in the current state it's not a four star hotel and you can find better value for your money in Biarritz.

The hotel is lovely the roof top bar is cool and relaxing in the summer the pool is good and the quality of the food is also good but the buffet breakfast is hard work the food is not getting replaced enough so it requires several visits to get your breakfast today they ran out of eggs ham and pineapple continuously which is very frustrating when you are paying over £525 a night per night we stayed here

It’s a good Radisson. And it’s a good choice to stay in Biarritz. Of course, for a hot season you can face some difficulties in your expectations concerning service. But I believe that the staff at Radisson try to do its best to help you. I’d prefer this hotel to be renovated. But anyway I can recommend it
