The hotel is set in a lovely location and the drive up Etna is lovely to reach it. However, we do feel there is a bit of ‘marketing’ going on here. The swimming pool shown in the photo on the website looks very different to that at the actual accommodation. The pool was very dirty and needed to be cleaned. The room was clean and adequate, but very dark and no air conditioning. Lack of plug sockets to charge devices too, which is needed as a traveller rather than someone just staying put in one location. The breakfast was basic and average. Overall I would not return to this accommodation.

A pleasant and quiet place in the forest at an altitude of 1100 meters on the southern slope of mount Etna. There are only 10 rooms, a clean and wonderful pool, very friendly staff. We stayed three very relaxing days at the end of a two-week tour around the island. We recommend the excellent dinners on the courtyard terrace. Visits to mount Etna are easy from here.

This is a fantastic hotel, set in beautiful woodland, close to Mt Etna. The food is very local and amazing. The staff were so lovely and welcoming. It was a pleasure to be there for a few days-I wish it could have been longer. I definitely recommend and would love to return.

A fun place to stay if visiting Mt. Etna! We arrived on a very rainy day but were warmly greeted by Stefani and enjoyed our room and the generous breakfasts. The lighting in the room is a bit odd, and the hot water took its time getting to the shower in the morning, but otherwise a good property. The dinners were amazing -- good selections of vegetarian and meat based options, good wine, and great desserts. Allessandra was our server for both dinner and breakfasts and really made a difference, especially with her vast knowledge of the local wines. The location is great for visiting Mt. Etna -- just a drive up the winding road. The property has a nice outdoor area and a pool, but alas, it was too cold and rainy to enjoy. Instead, we read and had great happy hours in the lodge, compete with a pool table, etc.

The royals of the past used to have retreats in the mountains. This place feels like one of those villas. It's in the woods and high up on famous Mount Etna and located in a large wooded forest of chestnut trees, where there is a trail for quiet walking. The property is tastefully furnished with art and rustic furniture. The staff is charming and then there is THE FOOD! (I forgot to say that there is a pool and lots of grounds to sit and read or relax in the sunshine. I wish I could have stayed there for many more days! GO!

The staff are amazing at this hotel. We stayed for 4 nights in a superior room. The decor was lovely. Would have been nice to have a chest of drawers. The food is wonderful. Thank you for a great stay

Excellent séjour. Personnel adorable. Bonne cuisine fraîche locale. Bonne ambiance dans une petite structure. Décoration rustique et élégante Joli bâtiment très calme et au frais! Très sympa pour les enfants également qui ont beaucoup aimé.

La struttura è molto bella e collocata in un contesto molto tranquillo e rilassante. Lo staff è molto accogliente e disponibile, anche per la preparazione di pranzetti buoni e genuini all'ultimo minuto. Per la colazione c'è grande scelta di cose tutte ottime.
