Dworek Huberta has a walking distance from the main ski center, skibusses to other locations and a short walk to the Bania watercenter. The staff is a passionate and devoted. Always there for the guests with a smiling and proffesionnal attitude. We had special dietetary request which were handled immediately. We were also booked mistakenly to a wrong room. The reception staff handled it perfectly desite the full booking. The rooms are tidy and beds comfortable. The room storage space is very minimum thus be prepared for some inconvenience. A one small wardrobe for a 4 skiers is not enough. The skiroom is very convenient with heated lockers. The space is modest, so avoid traffic. We loved the pool (8ball not swimming) room and the conference hall with the table tennis. If you are a fan of hunting than this is the place. But if you would be uncomfortable with hundreds of stuffed wildlife animals than it will be worth reconsidering the choice. Now the areas for serious improvement on the owners/management side: 1. The wifi is unacceptably slow. You cannot offer free wifi with 0-3mb/s speeds. Just admit that you do not offer wifi or invest immediately. 2. During wintertime the outside walkways and parking are not maintained due to management order. The surface is icy or deep snow. We were not able to walk comfortably without risk. We also have seen cars stuck in the middle of the parking lot. At the same time the next door parking was maintained and safe. 3. The so called ambient music is a huge discomfort. A strange mix of low quality highlander-disco loud music is a shame and offence to the distinct Tatra region and the guests. Our requests of changing the tunes, or tuning down the loud volume were answered that these are the owners orders. An useful tip to the owners - as the hotel does not serve regular dinners (only early 3pm-6pm meal), you could fascilitate the next door hotel restaurant. You could just make a gate/door in the fence to the restaurant instead of making your guests to walk around on the ice unmaintained internal road. Your neighbour restaurant your mutually benefit with you for the gate intalled. Do better dear management.
