After checking in, they arranged local cultural content very considerately, including helping tourists dress up and providing free local refreshments. The most amazing thing is that they also arranged a reliable guide to take you on a night tour of the ancient city for free, to see different scenery and explanations. Detailed history. When we left, we were given some local handicrafts as souvenirs (pictured below), which was so thoughtful!

Wonderful boutique hotel. I was there with a group of photographers of the Raw Society. We were greeted by the very friendly and helpful staff. Over the week or so that we were there everyone was very attentive and made our stay very pleasant. We mostly ate at the hotel for most of our stay, and the variety of the menu offerings made that also very doable.

Fantastic service on a wonderful modern facility. Great location and comfortable rooms with all you need for a special occasion. Good food selection that includes local and international cuisine. Staff is always there to help you out and offer advice.

Had the great pleasure of staying at The Nannee last week. The hotel is nestled in the heart of Bhaktapur on a quiet street, moments walk from Durbar Square. The hotel has a modern feel whilst retaining a traditional atmosphere. We would like to make a special thank you to Ms. Roshna Subedi, who hosted our arrival and explained the concept of the hotel and how it was part of the local community. We were offered complimentary walking tours. One at sunrise and the other at sunset. Both were outstanding in every way. These were hosted by the cultural expert, Mr Peepul Subedi. We truly saw local Bhaktapur. The hotel has a fabulous restaurant with a lovely outside area. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner and they were all delicious. We would also like to thank the many other staff who we did not have the pleasure of meeting but who contributed greatly to our stay. We would love to return and are already planning.

This great little boutique property that reflects in every aspect of its facilities and service the charm of the medieval city of Bhaktapur, is a great boon to people who would like to spend some time in the city. I am happy to note that the Newari dinner menu they have developed encapsulates a culinary tradition of the valley that is adapted to please foreigners.

We spent 2 nights (full days). The hotel is perfectly positioned in this peaceful little town just two minutes walk to Durbar square. The room had everything you need and the restaurant excellent.. with a view into the open kitchen (try the local red wine which was superb). Breakfast was outstanding. We had a complimentary guided walking tour with a local priest which brought the whole town to life (do it as soon as you arrive if possible). The staff lovely! A perfect hotel!!

My husband and I spent three days at this beautiful spot in Bhaktapur. We very much enjoyed the room and communal space - the design was beautiful and very well thought out. The food was great, the staff was lovely and the location to the historic center of Bhaktapur was ideal. We loved this spot and will stay again the next time we are back!

Cosy place in modern Newari inspired style. Very warm service. Nice spacy room with light atmosphere. The restaurant is homely and the kitchen is excellent. The only minus is the nightly noise of the streetdogs and slightly elevated price
