Situated slightly out of the more historic part of Beziers, but still only a short walk away, this hotel had a good local feel - residents in the square watching a French football match on tv at a nearby bar for example. The rooms are small but well appointed and something I liked about this hotel, unlike some others I stayed in in France, the cafe / bar / terrace were open at all times to get a cup of tea / drink / snack / meal.

The location of this hotel is superb, the interior is even better, but the main asset to this hotel, are the hard working staff. Lovely people all, they made our stay a special one. Special mention to Jonathan, who as well as working long hours, always has a smile and can mix a mean pina colada! Best hotel in Beziers.

This 12 room nicely renovated hotel is in the upper town on the Place Jean Jaures. We had room 12 on third floor that was well appointed and comfortable. The staff lead by Mathieu couldn’t have been more accommodating. The optional breakfast is very good. We opted for that on first and last day. Parking is in the garage underneath the parks green space it’s 14.40€ per day. Street parking is impossible. You can walk everywhere you need.there are two very well regarded restaurants associated with the hotel…Cocci-the Italian sport, and Pica Pica as Spanish type tapas restaurant. There terrace is great for drinks and people watching. Quite a nice spot to explore Béziers which is very interesting.

All of the photos of Hotel XIX on here are clearly from the proprietors as there isn't a shot of the bathrooms with no shower glass. What a surprise to find that out and the other surprises of no drapes to block out the street lamps and WIFI routers that couldn't hold a signal for more than 60 seconds. When each of these were brought to the man at the desk's attention the reception was hostile at best. One could get better service and basic amenities at a budget hotel. All of that being said, the location is great, but not worth the rude host and lack of WIFI.

Very poor and very annoying WiFi. Worst I have experienced for a long time. The AC is good though. Bathroom was clean but it was a wet room which is very inconvenient as the entire floor gets wet after taking a shower. Very limited shelf space in the bathroom. No safe. No fridge, but there were two bottles of water in the room on arrival. Not replaced on day two, though. Most of the other hotel rooms on this trip (all three star like XIX) were better furnished, e.g. armchairs, good size desk. We found the staff to be rather disinterested. Location is good. And Beziers is great. Our first visit to the town, but we definitely will be back. Not sure I’ll stay at XIX again though.

This is a small hotel on the main square in Beziers. ( which can be a bit noisy at night) The staff were very helpful, and in particular explained how to drive into the large car park under the square. The room was fine, but we only ate breakfast once as it was so poor. Very little bread snd fruit, mainly pastries. There were boiled eggs in a huge cooking machine, but not much else.

Absolutely love this Hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed. The hotel is in a great location with a Tapas restaurant ajoining. The surrounding area and park / fountains a spectacle. Higly recommended. We used this as a stop off point during a long drive but next time will stay longer.

I love everything about this hotel! First, it is located on the Place Jean Jaures and the parking is right underneath. I parked, took the elevator up and was literally in front of the hotel. When I arrived, the lady at the desk was super nice! I had requested a room looking out to the square and she made sure that I received one of those rooms. The other staff that I encountered were super friendly and helpful with recommendations, as well. The room was nice. The air conditioning was one of the best that I encountered in Europe. The shower was amazing! It was sweltering hot and the shower was so refreshing with perfect water pressure and was a rain shower. The breakfast was good, as well. I would definitely stay here again and I would recommend this hotel to friends. Béziers is such a cute city and it is worth visiting!
