Great house overseeing the Dordogne river , very quiet and relaxing . Rooms are big and well furnished . Breakfast is good ( continental type plus cheese and charcuterie). Staff is very welcoming and efficient. Nonetheless a big negative point that is not enough highlighted at booking time ( the warning comes after booking !) : there is 300 or 400meters from the car park to the house through very steep streets ( slope sometimes more that 20% ) that is not convenient at all for elder or handicapped people or if you have young children. It's a real effort to haul your luggage up there !! I would advise Maison des Sarrasins only for fit people !!

Very beautiful residence, authentic, beautiful rooms, swimming pool and incredible environment, at the foot of the castle. Very quiet, everything perfect! Efficient services, very pleasant staff, available, caring. We highly recommend!
