Very clean and comfortable stay on New Years Eve. Easy and friendly check in. Welcome biscuits and sweets made the kids very happy. Thank you to Sam. Would definitely stay again when catching up with friends in the area. Parking in underground car park could be more spacious.

I stayed for 2 days while I was working in the area between Christmas and New Year. What can I say? The hotel is great for exploring the local area, and the reception team seem to work the same shifts each day of my stay which is nice, has I did manage to build up a rapport which them. Nisha, the early shift duty manager, was very approachable, and I was able to get my extra towels and my room serviced. She understood the problem of having long hair and needing extra towels to dry it. Brian, who was on in the evening as Duty Manager, seemed to know the local shops which were open and also how to get around the local area and how to find a bargain! He also gave me good advice on how to get to the office, which has it was my first time I found a great help. Breakfast was a slightly limited menu, but Nisha explained that she would try to ensure that there was a good choice of food available. The restaurant is large and in the evening felt a bit uninviting but the friendly atmosphere from Tommie, the server, bar man, was first class he always had/made time for a chat which is nice. The scampi and chips were first class, and the chefs were very professional and I did ask Tommie for their names, and he said Syvlia and Jui! Please pass on my thanks for a first class meal on both nights. The beds are comfortable and big, the room was clean and warm, the only slight moan is the towels are not soft! The Internet worked, and I was able to do work in the evenings when I got into the room. The TV channel choice was good. This is my go-to hotel, and I have made a note on my company travel profile to add to my preferred hotel for visits to our Belverdere depot.

I had the pleasure of staying in the hotel over the Christmas period. I found the hotel to be clean, tidy, and warm. The air conditioning in the room had to be reset on the main controller, but once the reset had taken place, it worked brilliantly. The check-in took place and the older male member of staff, seemed to be a font of knowledge, and along with his two female colleagues who were on the desk when he was not always had time to past time of day! I think their names were Nisha, Brian and Sam. In fact, they seemed to live there has there was always The breakfast on some days was limited due to a supply issue, but they always had the stable items. I did use the bar in the evenings, and the male staff were always professional and friendly. Again, the menu was reduced due to the supply issue, which is outside their control. My room on the first floor was good and had one of the best beds I have slept in in a hotel. The maid was always smiling and said hello. She seemed happy with her job. She did service my room and was happy to come back while I got ready to go out for the day. I think her name is Inoica.

Mould in rooms, wet drip stains on the wall, dust cobwebs above the bed and in general a poorly looked after hotel. Compared to other premier inns this falls below standard. The only benefit is the good value of the hotel but after this stay I would rather pay and extra £50 for somewhere that doesn’t have mould littered around the room and a smell that can only be described as Foul! Terrible night sleep as aircon turns on and off intermittently, and the over bearing smell of mould keeps you awake ! STAY AWAY FROM ROOM 307

The room was clean and warm which was nice . We had travelled up from Gatwick airport. The aim of the trip was to visit family, who live in the area. We had bee. Recommended the hotel by my girlfriends sister who had stayed there a few times. The check in was quick and simple and the agent 'Brian' seemed to have a good knowledge of the local area, and also central London. He was able to pass on where to eat in the town and did recommend the hotel restaurant. The room cleaner was very pleasant and helpful and we think she is called Edita and she was very happy to give us fresh towels when we asked. We did not use the restaurant for breakfast as we overslept, but did have an evening meal one and enjoyed the pizzas! The server was very pleasant but we did not get their name but they had blue hair! All we were told was correct and the hotel is ideal for exploring the local area and central London.

The hotel room was good the staff were excellent. Don’t book breakfast it was awful, bread was not fresh needed to be toasted, eggs were over cooked , bacon was like rubber. Their was no black pudding, no tomatoes, no yogurt. Questioned this, the only member of staff with attitude said they haven’t had a delivery for two weeks which I find hard to believe.so do yourselves a favour and go to the spoons down the road.
