Great hotel, Comfortable bed, Great location. Staff are bang on it and very attentive! Love the resturaunt / bar. Had great service from Sarani he's a legend! Very friendly and helpful with meal choices and good chat! Overall very pleasant stay! ***** thanks all food and service was banging! Had the steak and ale pie and the Chicken burger so far and was beyond expectations. I'm 2 out of 7 days into my stay and am very happy cant wait to try the rest of the menu!

We cannot accept such "gentlemanly" and "thoughtful" service. Unfortunately, arrogance and rudeness became our first impression of Wales—thanks to the Swallow Falls Inn. Due to an unexpected issue with our car rental, we had to adjust our travel plans. As soon as we realized this, we promptly reached out—following the booking policy—to request a cancellation. I sent two polite messages, both of which went unanswered, only to have the request directly refused. When I called to ask for clarification, my call was abruptly hung up on—without a single word of explanation. This was the penultimate stop on our 10-day UK trip, and everything had gone smoothly until this point. The Swallow Falls Inn’s "kind" service cast a shadow over what had been a lovely journey.

Great location right opposite Swallow Falls. We booked for two nights. Super friendly bar area that also serves as the restaurant. We ate in restaurant both nights. Food was very good. I had the chicken curry first night and husband fish and chips, both excellent. Saturday night I had the biggest piece of salmon and husband home made pie. Food was excellent. Breakfast was ok, I would say if you wish continental you need to get down early failing that everything will be gone. The rooms were a decent size and amazing bathroom with a fantastic shower with decent pressure. Only slightly negative side was noise from rooms above and slamming of doors from other guests. I can understand they are heavy and fire doors but slightly annoying at 07.00/07.30 in morning. Not hotels fault. The refurb is stunning and very cosy. Well done.

When we arrive we could not see no staff and than I saw waitress and said, if we go the other side of the pub there is window. We sat there not knowing weather it was ordered at the bar or someone would come to the table. After while my husband went up to the bar and ordered our food and he felt she really did not want to serve him!! Food came husband had the lamb hotpot he said it was just ok, I had the fish chips and I had to go up ask for my curry sauce as it was did not came with the food.(had wait for a member of staff to show her face) Very disappointed chips warm and peas cold and when the waitress brought the curry sauce.i told her my food was cold. She brought it back yes the chips was hot and they brought the fish (I opened it up before the waitress took it and even put the squeezed lemon back on my fish !!)and the peas was still cold. As rule I would of brought new plate of food out , but that was not the case and when I tried the fish it was very oily Very disappointing as this was our wedding anniversary meal and felt very let down Would I come back no
