Stayed in a family room for 1 night to break up a long journey.
Arrived late but we were greeted by the friendly and helpful staff.
The room was a bit cramped but was okay for our needs as we were going onward the next day.
The beds were comfortable and considering the hotel is conveniently situated next to the A1 the room was quiet.
Breakfast was good with a varied choice. There is the facility to book packed lunches but you need to book the night before.
Overall a good friendly hotel. We would stay again if ever we’re passing through again.

Lovely room with king bed. Staff, Tilly and Donna were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. Surrounding countryside was beautiful.

Next to A1 with limited mitigation. Noisy kitchen extraction both in evening and morning precluded a good nights sleep

Great staff and great food & drinks at the pub. Easy parking and we were welcomed the moment we opened the door.
Room was comfortable and it's very easy to get to the Holy Island from here. I would definitely recommend staying here, as I know we would again.

Lovely conveniently located Inn, very comfortable rooms and clean. Donna on reception was so friendly and helpful, she is an asset to this organisation. Very decent hot breakfast too.

Lovely hotel in convenient location
Lovely hotel in convenient location. Close to Holy island around 10 miles from Berwick. Breakfast good, room very good. Bar prices a little high. Very friendly staff.

Family Break
Hotel was nice and clean, rooms nicely furnished and staff very friendly.
A really nice breakfast to start the day.
Only negative for us as a family were the restaurant prices, the quality of the food didn't match the high price.
