Find the Cheap Berne Hotels

The hotel staff is very friendly and happy to answer my questions. They respect the guests very much. The hotel environment is very good, comfortable and clean. Only 5 minutes away from the train station, very convenient There are not too many breakfast choices, but they are all acceptable and taste good

Stayed in this hotel for two weeks during my official visit in Switzerland. Located just opposite to Schonegg Tram stop, this hotel is just 10 mins from Bern Bahnof (Railway Station). This is an old design hotel with all modern amenities. The staff at the reception are polite helpful. The room which I got was at the end of the corridor which was quite small in terms of width. The bed was also quite small. The room was giving a vibe of coziness though. The bathroom was neat and clean but was small The hotel has an in house restaurant located in the first floor. Overall the food in the menu were quite expensive. The room rent didn’t include complimentary breakfast so the breakfast was also quite expensive ( 7.5 CHF for express and 19.5 for Buffet) Positives 1. Courteous Staff 2. Free High speed Wi Fi 3. Complimentary Public Transport pass 4. Clean and Hygienic room 5. B’ful view from the window 6. Check In and Check out was smooth Negatives 1. Small room 2. Items in the mini bar were quite expensive 3. Small bed 4. Air Condition in the room was bit confusing in terms of controlled heating/cooling

This hotel is a short bus ride from the main train station. The rooms are modern & ours was large. No one & no instructions on how to turn on the lights or operate the roll down shutters or anything else in the room. It was frustrating. There are large patio doors (no patio though) that open with electric roll down shutters. But our room faced busy train tracks & so leaving those doors open meant hearing VERY frequent train traffic late into the night & then starting again in the early morning. It wasn’t pleasant. Another thing to know about this hotel is the A/C is controlled & is central to the ENTIRE hotel and it’s not cool in the rooms🥵. There is NO adjusting it in your room or for your room 🥵. It is just what it is. We were advised to open our patio doors to get more air🤪. That would work if it’s cool outside AND there were not the train traffic! There is no ventilation fan in the bathroom and that just adds humidity to the room with no way to vent it. So this hotel is modern meets we don’t trust you. We would not stay here again & from now on even if the hotel says there is a/c we will have to ask the further question about who controls it & the temp.

Six of us stayed for one night in three rooms, all three were really warm as there was no air con, just a floor fan. We had a really annoying ceiling light just outside the bathroom which came on every time you moved near it, particularly frustrating when you get up in the night and bathe the room in light. We also had a disturbed night as we were woken up at about 22.30 by someone coming into our room (my husband yelled at them - not sure who was more startled) and our room key didn’t work next day. When we asked reception about it next morning they weren’t particularly apologetic and blamed a sister hotel for allocating our room to someone else. Breakfast wasn’t great (not much choice, dry croissants) but the coffee machine made a good espresso.

Enthusiasm, the room is also good, suitable for self-driving, a little distance from the city center, good value for money, convenient around, supermarket hotels, will choose here next time

Although the room was small, the bed was very comfortable and nothing (coffee/tea, water, minibar, etc.) was missing. In the small lounge on the ground floor, we were able to enjoy a good coffee and relax after a busy day. We can definitely recommend this innkeeper for the quality/price offered: tram no. 8 also leads directly to the centre.

The worst experience of my life! I planned to visit the beautiful city of Bern with my family a few years ago. The visit to the city was wonderful and to top it off I chose a four star “Boutique Hotel” to stay with my family and have a great experience. UNFORTUNATELY, THAT DIDN'T HAPPEN! The hotel put my family in a room on the top floor in the ATTIC with small windows and no air circulation. To solve this, the “four star Boutique Hotel” put a fan in the room. Apart from this problem, the room had a hydraulic problem and the hotel found a very creative solution to solve the problem! The entrance door to the room was cut and through it passed a tube that entered through the outside of the wall reaching the bathroom with the door also cut! a work of art that unfortunately does not match the expectations I had for a “Boutique Hotel” in Bern - Switzerland! A very sad experience! I do not recommend this hotel to anyone! ( attached photos )

We were very good in this hotel, in a quiet residential area of Berna a step from the historic center: you are 5 minutes walking. The lady's recommended walk to the reception (very nice, he spoke a good Italian fortunately), we followed her instructions and made a beautiful tour through the gardens. Thank you!

The room is warmly furnished and well equipped, there is a warm light on the door, and then there are convenient hangers and tables that allow you to easily hand things in your hands, just like returning home! Every furniture is placed very carefully, there are small snacks, candy and mineral water, the small restaurant can cook by itself, tools and seasonings are complete. The details of the careful layout are displayed everywhere, I like it very much, I will stay here next time I come to Switzerland. The self-check-in information is detailed and there is no trouble.
