This was our third time in Berlin. We stayed 3 nights in Zarenhof hotel. We were supposed to stay 4 nights, but we had to leave a day earlier. The hotel didn’t charge the night we left earlier, so a big thank you to the hotel. The hotel is located in Prenzlauer Berg right beside the metro/U-bahn. (U2) The area is safe and really cosy. Your are within walking distance of Mauer Park. Speaking of Mauer Park. Try to go there on a sunday, you won’t regret it. Check in and checkout was quick. We stayed two adults and two children in room 308. A spacious room with a little kitchen and a refrigerator. The room was clean and we had a balcony which was very nice in the mornings and evenings. The breakfast was nice with a fine selection of cold and warm food and drinks. But the the breakfast staff. Wow I didn’t see one smile from either of them. No friendly welcome or anything. They really ought to lighten up a little. Wi-Fi is free and the connection is good. You have access to a parking garage nearby for approximately 15 euros/night. We enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to stay at Zarenhof Hotel another time.

I can recommend this hotel. Appears new and modern, spacious, bright and practical rooms, nice interior, comfortable beds, quiet, good breakfast. The bathroom is a bit small, but not a problem. Tram and subway station right outside. Foodstore, burger king, farmacy is also right outside. Friendly staff.

I paid for a night without breakfast below €50. You can do that perfectly. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was small, as well as the bathroom, but only to sleep and shower absolutely OK ... for which the room was directly to the main street I received very little of it. At breakfast I can't say much I just saw it and there seemed it fresh and abundant. Little Manko the parking place is reached through another street. Then I just parked in one of the many quiet side streets. A lot of woods and a few woods.

Came to Berlin for a long weekend with my family, unfortunately the hotel they booked was horrendous and more of a hostel- without sounding like a spoilt brat I couldn’t stay in such a tiny cramped room with 4 other people so I decided to try to book a hotel nearby. Managed to book hotel Adele on booking.com for about €150 for Thursday-Sunday. I arrived late on Thursday so had to use the key box, unsure if it’s due to the time of the trip being affected by COVID but the hotel was eerily quiet and I do wonder if there were any other guests! I was just by myself and was pleasantly surprised by my room, bathroom with a bath, shower, sink and toilet (nice shower gel, body lotion and soap was also provided). I had a tv with a double bed and the Art Deco theme is nice- I really enjoyed the aesthetic of the place. Found the corridors a bit creepy, particularly at night coming back alone, room could have done with a floor length mirror, didn’t see any staff during my stay and the teas were not restocked during my stay but for the price at such short notice I can’t complain and would recommend hotel Adele!

I found this hotel to be well equipped and located for my purposes, my work place at Gendarmenmarkt was 5 km removed, easily navigable by Lime scooter or public transport. The room was bordering on cramped with only 14 square meters, not allowing for involved yoga exercises, I did manage somehow eventually, however the bed more than made up for that. Good mattress and comforter. Indeed, as said in other reviews, the lack of airco makes for a stuffy atmosphere, but that is fixable by opening the window at the draft setting, giving a small twist of the window handle without opening the window frame. The bathroom comes with the basics, although it looks a bit old and used, it is nonetheless squaky clean. The interior parking has space for a few vehicles, but the entrance is a cramped horror, had to fold the outer mirrors and drive at a snail pace to be able to enter the lot. There are plenty restaurants to be found nearby, as well as a late night shop or two for snacks and things. All in all a good address for a short stay in town, very good value, I stayed five nights for not even 50 euros per night without breakfast (plenty breakfast places around for the same rate). Nice visit.
