TOP martas Hotel Albrechtshof Berlin

Lovely hotel. Nice clean rooms. Staff friendly. It was my brothers 40th birthday & they brought complimentary champagne to the room which was a nice touch. We didn't have breakfast, so can't comment on that. Good location, very close to a large train station. Walkable to the Brandenburg gate. Plenty of nice restaurants on the same road as the hotel. Only very slight negative is that we were in rooms at the front of the hotel & it was a bit noisy early morning when delivery vehicles came & the refuse was collected etc.

We booked a double and a single room. We were surprised by the size of the double. It was big and very roomy. However, alot could be desired regarding cleanliness. The bathroom was really unpleasant. You could write your name in the dust in the windowsill, and utilities like the hairdryer stand, towelrack, toilet paper holder and radiator. Absolutely disgusting. The single room were slightly cleaner in the bathroom, but had these really nasty carpet stains. We thought they were mold at first, but no. Not ok for what we paid for the rooms. On top of that, no breakfast included, and cost us an extra €200 for 5 people 2 mornings. And what a glorious rip off that was. Been to several hotels over the years, and this was by far the most boring breakfast ever. The dining room was nice, but we expected alot more to select from for the extra money we had to spend for breakfast. If we had known, we would have saved that money, and gotten something far better at some of the other coffee shops or restaurants around. During our entire stay, we met two people on staff who were actually nice. A young man keeping track of the room numbers on arrival to breakfast, and a young lady (long hair and glasses) at the reception in the mornings. The person in charge of the bar, just went off and vanished for long periods of time, and when he finally came back, we and other guests were told abruptly that the bar was closed, and he went off again. There is no lounge, or anywhere you can sit and wait for things like pick up after you have checked out, unless someone is kind enough to open the door into the bar area. 3 stars must be a joke. If we ever come back to Berlin, we will be booking elsewhere

Good location to sites, trains and restaurants/cafes. Just a few blocks from River Spree. Friendly and helpful staff. Good size room with comfortable bed. Lovely view of courtyard plus windows that open. Note that there is neither a coffee maker or tea pot.

Very good lication, friendly staff. We stayed for three nights. Overall experience was very good. Most the places are walking distance from the hotel lots of eating places nearby. Train station is about teo minutes walk. We will highly recommend this hotey

The hotel is located in a very nice area, close to the city center (walking distance) and it is clear, with quite big rooms and beautiful. The problem is that there is no elevator and you have to carry your luggages on your own all the floors up and the staff of the hotel does not even offer to help a little bit. The breakfast was ok, but not really special.

One of the main reasons we booked this property was for the large bed option in the booking options. But they don't have a mattress larger than single. So a large bed means two single mattress joined which keeps moving apart if you slide to the centre. So one had to sleep like hostel bunk beds, not comfortable at all. Next the wi-fi never worked for more than 10-15 mins at a time. Though centrally located, quite the challenge to take your luggage there. Also the train from the airport was not running upto the hotel staff and staff could not guide us appropriately. It took us 45 mins to reach the hotel from Alexanderplatz. Definitely the beds and wifi was not standard. Since there was no kettle in the room, it was provided on request. Definitely not a three star as advertised. Front desk not at friendly nor helpful. Not suitable for international travellers. Location worked but sleeping was a challenge. If you like single beds, then ok for you

Very Clean overall. Extremely well trained staff. Best breakfast and breakfast service on any of our travels, and wonderful location right in Berlin Mitte. I had to spend 2 days in bed and experienced first hand the best hospitality one can expect.

Quiet hotel with a fabulous breakfast! Helpful staff and a very good dinner and drinks restaurant. Great location close to the train station. Would recommend for any type of visit to Berlin. The train station connect to the main station, one stop. Also straight shot to the airport! Clean and quiet😇

The Hotel is located near the S+UBahn Friedrichstr., which is a perfect location for people coming from the main train station. The area is quiet and has a diverse of cafes and restaurants nearby. The room was cozy and clean. Cleaning service came everyday to clean. The Breakfast is simple but delicious. A coffee machine is also available if you would like to have a hot chocolate, cappuccino or latte Macchiato. They offer also dinner and lunch menu for a reasonable price. I would recomend this hotel.
