The apartments are spacious enough even if you put out a sofa bed and have three people living together. There is everything you need: a dishwasher and tablets for it, a microwave, frying pans, pots, cooking containers, even vegetable peelers. In addition to the sofa, there are several ottomans and chairs to sit on. The apartment has good sound insulation, you couldn’t hear your neighbors, although the apart-hotel was fully occupied. But if the windows face the road, you will hear the sound of sirens from passing firefighters and ambulances (at night they drive without sirens, so nothing interferes with sleep). The hotel is located opposite a green square where you can stroll. However, around this street there are renovations going on and almost everything is blocked, which was a minus for us. The area is not the busiest, but there is a metro station, an Edeka supermarket, a delicious bakery and a gas station nearby. No one cleans the rooms; you have to throw out the trash yourself. As for check-in: when you book, they send you an email where you need to register yourself, since there is no receptionist at the hotel. You send a photo of your passport and an electronic signature, as a result they immediately send you a code for the front door, as well as a code for the doors to the apartment. There are no keys or cards, only codes. This is convenient if you arrive at night, but it can be disappointing if you did not register in a timely manner and did not find the administrator upon arrival.
