The hotel is next to the subway station, which is very convenient. The location is just below the Museum Island, and it is very convenient to travel to the city center and most of the attractions. Breakfast was of a high standard and reasonably priced. But the bathroom floor has no drainage holes, so it's better not to let the water flow into the floor when you shower.

The hotel is next to the subway station, the traffic is very convenient, the location is under the Museum Island, not far from various attractions. The breakfast is quite rich and cost-effective. The biggest problem is that there is no water level under the bathroom, and there is often water accumulation after showering.

Very strange and strong smell from the bathroom I guess it was because of some chemicals used for cleaning and sanitation. Hotel is not an upscale hotel at all, unless we are talking about the hostel as a scale
Has some positive aspects very friendly staff. Nice gym and sauna though the smell in the shower area was still very very strong

The rooms was dated, particularly the bathroom. The bed base made very loud creaking noises whenever I got on or off it, or moved around in it. The ‘VIP room upgrade’ was simply moving me from a street side room to a ‘courtyard’ side room. Both rooms exactly the same. They do charge a bit more for a courtyard side room but this looks very much like a made up room category in order to ‘game’ the ******* VIP programme and be able to say they have given an upgrade when really they haven’t. Other hotels I’ve stated in give a genuine upgrade. The courtyard was nothing special and half my view was a blank white wall. And the windows didn’t open. So quite claustrophobic. Made worse by the fact the room was overheated when I arrived - thermostat set at 25 and it felt hotter than that. As I couldn’t open the windows I had to go out for two hours while the room cooled down.
