When we arrived at 3 a.m. and figured out how to get to reception, we were served quickly. 24-hour reception is a big advantage. The concept of a "better" hostel is also brilliant (various rooms for every taste, kitchen for cooking yourself, parking garage, central location and also casual urban industrial design). Breakfast is very straightforward and you get mainly "cheap" products, but at €9.90 you can't say anything about it and if you don't like the crusty coffee, you can order a good coffee for an extra charge. Up to this point it would be 4.5 points out of 5, but after the first night our room was not cleaned - OK, but it can happen because a lot of people left at the same time. On the second day our room was not cleaned again - so we asked at reception - the answer: You have to contact us if you want the room cleaned - OK, but nothing was written on the website. I asked again in the afternoon, the lady apologized for her statement, and we also pointed out the massive, extensive mold in the bathroom - the answer: Yes, we have already closed a few rooms because of mold - What 🤷🏻♂️. In any case, she said that the room would be cleaned immediately and that we would finally get fresh towels. When we arrived, NOTHING had been done except for the towels and blankets being folded up - embarrassing when you even said something beforehand. There were other incidents where the staff didn't know about it - tip for you, when there is nothing to do (there were enough of those), don't talk about private odds and ends that everyone notices, but find out about the standards of the hotel. If we had known this in advance, we could have gotten a nice Air BNB.
