Really disappointing stay. Only booked this hotel as I stayed in Island Brygge Copenhagen September this year and couldn’t have had a better stay. The room was sweltering hot and no way to turn the radiator down. We had the fan on full all evening and during the night, it clicked terribly. All windows were open. No cool or fresh air circulated to the upstairs section. Far too stuffy during the night so no one slept well. The mezzanine upstairs was cramped and you had to crawl, I wouldn’t even suggest this for children as the steps were excessively steep. We would have eaten in the restaurant a night but it is only open a handful of days during the week so didn’t suit our plans. Plug sockets didn’t work. No tea or coffee facilities. Had to physically stand in the shower to open and close the door and to access the toilet and I am not a large person by any means! Shower was broken, handle chipped and you couldn’t fully open the sink unit doors. Huge screw sticking through the floor of the upstairs section. I would have expected the same high standard as I experienced in Copenhagen. Overall, we slept terribly, the rooms weren’t comfortable and the shower was a pain. I’ll now think twice about booking this chain.

We had an ok stay at the hotel, and there are a few things that really stood out in a positive way. The décor was fantastic, which is something I highly value when traveling abroad. The hotel had a cozy atmosphere that made the stay feel relaxing. The location was also very convenient, especially with the bus stop right in front of the hotel, which was perfect since we were traveling with children. The hotel breakfast was very expensive, so we opted to eat at a café around the corner instead. The café offered delicious coffee, fresh sandwiches, and freshly squeezed juice at much more reasonable prices. It was a great alternative to the hotel breakfast. Unfortunately, there were a few things that brought the overall experience down. The hotel's bar had very odd opening hours. After a long day out, we were hoping to unwind with a drink, but when we returned to the hotel around 6 p.m., the bar was closed. I asked the receptionist why, and he gave several reasons: the bar was only open on certain days and times (I can't remember exactly, as there was too much information), he didn’t know the prices (even though they were listed on the menu), and he didn’t know how to use the payment machine. He mentioned that if someone else had been there, it might have worked fine, but he could offer us a nice cup of coffee instead. Uh... okay. We stayed in a room for four people with a mezzanine, but the ceiling on the mezzanine level was so low that you had to crawl. A small child might have been able to stand, but for adults, it was uncomfortable. The bathroom was extremely small, and it was difficult to even close the door without squeezing in. Another downside was the lack of power outlets in the room. Since there were four of us, all with phones and other tech devices, it was a bit tricky to keep everything charged. When you're traveling and using roaming, batteries drain quickly, so we really could have used more outlets. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating, which is always a huge plus at any hotel. I hope the hotel considers some of the suggestions I’ve mentioned, as there is definitely potential to make the stay even better.

Really chilled hotel, some lovely touches, super comfortable beds with single quilts, love that idea...eco toiletries etc. We were in a loft room with a swing which my daughter loved...not as much room as it looks online, entry hallway needs a light, couldn't see in my suitcase there, had to move it to the window. Loft stair ladder very steep, quite dangerous if getting up in the dark at night. Overall a good option, handy for Potsdamer plate, Checkpoint Charlie and Brandenburg gate...

Very cute, charming hotel. Staff was very friendly and helpful. A lot of common space which was great as we were with a group. Coffee service in the lobby was definitely a nice perk. Great location with many options for restaurants nearby and Berlin’s main sights easily accessible

We were disappointed, having stayed at 66 Guldesman in Copenhagen. There the atmosphere is a warm skandi “hygge” vibe. There is an open fire blankets and the breakfast is amazing. Unfortunately the experience was different at this hotel. The rooms are cramped and the bathroom very small. Didnt like the Balinese decor. Would have preferred “skandi” again. The communal areas also feel cramped and there is not enough communal seating. The foyer and breakfast area was freezing cold and other people were complaining about that. The breakfast was minimal to say the least and on the first day the eggs and were cold, we were surprised to find they didn’t have a toaster. The drinks were okay but served very slowly indeed.

Probably the worse breakfast in town, the Hotel is quite good but forget the breakfast, half an hour for a cold cappuccino and a piece of strong bread and a something call “pancake”. I forgot the yogurt with muesli for 10€ !

This was definitely a friendly hotel in a great part of town. The rooms are cute, but small. There is a nice lobby, a courtyard, and tables in front by the sidewalk to relax. They serve breakfast (at 24 Euros we preferred the Bakery a half a block away), beer, wine, etc., and also coffee. Free candy and fresh fruit in the lobby make you feel appreciated. The staff was incredibly friendly and outdid themselves to accommodate all wishes. If you get there before check-in and the room is ready, they give you early access. Lots of little restaurants all around, we especially enjoyed the little place "Mahlzeit" a couple of blocks away.

This hotel did NOT disappoint! Wonderful staff, atmosphere and rooms! Stayed in a loft for 4, which was just right for our family. Bus stop right out the front door helps get you started in the right direction on your day’s adventure! Highly recommend!
