Kardinal Schulte Haus

The hotel is firstly characterized by its great location, clean & maintained rooms. I would like to highlight the very professional and friendly communication of staff at the reception, especially Mr N. Fuchs! No question is too much and he is always well served! Unlike the restaurant associated. The servant Antonio spreads an extreme hectic among the trainers, makes you unsure, gives no choice of commands! The two trainees were always very friendly and professional. Antonio was always friendly to me, but by his behavior to his colleagues I could not really enjoy my food. When a call from the reception came to receive a order, Antonia became loud and refused to go to the phone. He even called the trainer loudly to stop the telephone call. He has no time! For information I sat in the local, because the beer garden was fully covered. That's why I lived the interactions, unfortunately, and here you should think!

The picturesque angle hotel is a perfect small oasis. Very lovely conducted the stay begins with a very friendly, personal and informative check-in. The rooms are tasteful, practical and very carefully designed (we had a modern comfort room in the artists' house). Breakfast is rich with delicious coffee, delicate and sweet. A very cozy and beautiful atmosphere is also added. This small hotel is simply recommended!

The moment you drive up the hotel looks impressive and it is indeed impressive in terms of quality, rooms, reception services and pool. The room are simply splendid decorated, very spacious with coffee machine...super well done. The area is great for hiking and not that far from Cologne. We only stayed for one night. The breakfast had a great variety of choices including healthy options and the team was very attentive and welcoming. However there is one big downside; the dinner in Salvador Dali is nerve breaking process. We only ordered the main course and it took them 2 hours to prepare; how on earth is that possible. Having asked the waiter himself was completely unaware what was happening. We made our order at 20.10 pm and we good finally our food at 21.50 pm....totally ”off” for such kind of hotel. Meanwhile the music the bar was 'live' but bad adding additional nervousness and stress to the waiting process. Yes they credited the drinks but that was not our intention. Again totally not aligned with the grandeur & quality of the hotel.

The room was very clean, very comfortable and smelly, but the furniture was a bit dusty. The hotel is located in a small town, the environment is very good, close to the supermarket, but the supermarket is closed a little early, it is closed at 8 o'clock. The breakfast is very rich, and I have specially prepared hot tea.
