We visited the bohemian in December, we thought that an elevator was available in the building and were disappointed it wasn’t. The staff however solved the problem immediately by carrying our luggage upstairs. The room is more than satisfying: very beautifully decorated and has all the facilities you need.
Just a proposal for the bookings through other sites: people don’t get all the information to check in, maybe there is a better communication plan needed..

Whilst the photos of the rooms make the place look quite lovely, sadly they look nothing like this in real life. First of all I would not recommend this hotel to anyone travelling with any sort of luggage (except backpacks). The entrance from the road is by a staircase so carrying 2 suitcases and a backpack was a huge challenge. Just imagine the disappointment you realise the property has no lift and you have to carry heavy luggage to the 4th floor yourself. And then walking up and down the stairs each time you leave and re-enter was a huge pain, especially having a bad knee myself. The room was fine for 1 person but I can’t imagine more people staying there as there isn’t much storage and and everything seems quite cramped. I couldn’t close the curtain properly without having light from inside coming in as the curtain didn’t seem long enough for that size of window. The property does offer breakfast area or reception and there was no staff to tend to my room during those 4 nights, not even to empty my bin or change towels.

Great for a short or long term stay! Customers service and check in was friendly and efficient. The first thing I noticed when I entered my room was the fresh air. I was impressed by how well equipped it was with fridge, tea and coffee, and a microwave. Modern standard. It was perfect for what I wanted. I'll definitely have this as my first choice when I'm back in the city.

The hotel as of summer 2024 is not finished. It shouldn’t have opened. I hate to write bad reviews, but don’t want you to make the same mistake we did. We prepaid but left early for another hotel. We just didn’t want to spoil our good time in Bergen. The good things: clean, well located, comfy beds, nice kitchenette. But toilet didn’t flush properly, lots of construction going on, no common room as advertised, no hot water during peak shower time, no toilet paper holder. When the hotel will be finished, I think it has potential to be a nice budget hotel.

The room is equipped with an extremely noisy ventilation. The equivalent of a toilet flushing, with a constant noise. IMPOSSIBLE TO SLEEP. The owner offers to reimburse us the price of the room for our stay. We were forced to stay in this hotel that we have already paid for with the impossibility of sleeping for 4 days.
