Beautiful rooms in the pleasant context of a comfortable historic building in the centre: this is the highly recommended experience of the b&b. Check-in can be done easily online with only the aid of a mobile phone, and breakfast is also self-managed in a pleasant room on the second floor with a terrace. Coming back to Bergamo, this will always be my place.

I chose it because, arriving late in the evening in BG and not knowing that the upper city is easily reached by bus, it seemed to me, among the few accommodations available on that date, quite close to the center and at an acceptable price. BG is expensive and the over 80 euros paid for two for one night was more than acceptable, also considering the good standard of the accommodation. The building dates back to the early 1900s and has been excellently restored, respecting the liberty style with which it was born. Room of modest size, but spotlessly clean and well-kept. Very professional hoteliers. Breakfast included, even if from a B & B, but this I believe is attributable to covid.There is also a restaurant, with excellent reviews and prices, unfortunately in line with those of the city.

There are three of us in the family, mum dad and a 4 and a half year old boy. So we were assigned the room, the only one, on the third floor, without a lift and with sometimes spiral stairs (best wishes for the suitcase transport!). ROOM so to speak: attic in places not habitable, especially in that hole they define BATHROOM, dark, hot, full of mosquitoes and dust. The third bed was a cot with wheels in the center (so the child rolls forward with each leap), which closed the "arms" in front and behind depending on how you moved. Very dangerous. Not to mention the bathroom. Impossible to take a shower in the morning: no water pressure and much less hot! Horrible and dusty mattress and pillows, ZERO wardrobes in the bedroom and in the bathroom. Pseudo painted and peeling walls, slow heating lights therefore not at all illuminating. Blackout curtains literally with holes, dirty. Not to mention the breakfast: zero presence of staff, breakfast boxes in the fridge containing a very acidic pineapple juice, a GOOD Motta and 2 biscuits. AND ZERO PRESENCE OF MILK FOR THE BABY: we had to go out and go to the supermarket to buy it! And for all these excellent services, they even made us pay in advance. Of course, they know perfectly well that as soon as you see the room, you'll run away! NEVER AGAIN IN LIFE! If there are three of you.. Run away and above all don't make the mistake of paying first: always ask to see the room first.

Location ottima. Personale gentilissimo e disponilissimo. Da consigliare sicuramente. Non abbiamo potuto provare il ristorante perché in chiusura settimanale, ma sicuramente avrò modo di ritornare e provarlo.
