I don't know if words can describe the wonderful experience my wife, myself, and another senior couple had at our stay at Palazzo Radici in beautiful and scenic Bergamo, Italy. But I will try! I discovered Palazzo Radici after reviewing many sites for a stay on arrival and departure days for a longer stay at Lake Garda. I began corresponding with the hotel manager, Alessandra, in the late fall 2023 with questions about arranging taxi's, transportation, and other matters. She always responded timely with answers to my questions. I could tell by her replies that she truly loved her profession. When we arrived at the Palazzo (after transport from Paolo arranged from Alessandra) we were greeted by Alessandra and the hotels owner, Barbara. They proceeded to give us a tour with a lovingly description of the hotel that Barbara restored. Alessandra then provided web sites and directions of Bergamo attractions, restaurants, and other things to do and see which were all close to the hotel. Then came breakfast! All of us felt like the only guests in the room from the attention and explanations about the local food consumed. We left for our stay at Lake Garda knowing that it would be impossible to match this experience. However, we returned for our final night stay in Italy before departing to Malpensa airport. Again the experience of a lifetime. We even relaxed in one of the central rooms and drank the wine produced by Barbara's family. In summary, I have lived and been traveling to Europe since 1960. This hotel and Alessandra rank at the top of my hotel stays. If you are fortunate enough to book one of their four rooms...Book it!

This is a Perfect palazzo in a perfect ancient hill town! A flawlessly restored and renovated palazzo with jaw dropping rooms and bathrooms, panoramic views, comfy lounges with the family’s own wine from their vineyard, gardens meandering up and down the hillside and the friendliest most gracious hostess and staff. On my trip to Venice and Milan our stay in Bergamo was the best part. If you want to dream you are a renaissance prince or princess then come to Bergamo and stay here The beds are divine. The breakfast is delicious. The decor is antiques (but not scary antiques) and the murals hand painted on the lounge walls are entrancing. Yes there is an elevator! On a very quiet quaint stone side street with almost no street noise. And the town is filled with great little restaurants and shops. And these little restaurants serve incredible Italian wine. Treat yourself to a stay of a lifetime! Very easy to get to Bergamo by train - on your way from Venice to Milan or vice versa. Enjoy!

We spent two nights here stunning hotel rooms are beautiful and spacious very welcoming hosts especially Barbra and Alessandra what lovely lady’s loved hearing about the history of the house and Bergamo its self fantastic location loved the old town hope we get to visit again soon

À room in a palace. Beautiful room and stunning breakfast room. Breakfast excellent. Aleesandra and Barbara very helpful and friendly.
More comfortable seating in the bedroom and wider selection of condiments would also be appreciated.

Such a beautiful place! And the most wonderful host/general manager & owner. The restoration using original family pieces and others found in markets and antique stores can oftentimes come out too dark and heavy but not here. We admired everything. Such detail and textures so very tastefully put together. Palazzo Radici has such a wonderful warm welcoming energy, not just from the beauty and light of the place but the people as well. Alessandra, the general manager was genuinely welcoming and very helpful, great recommendations too. We were pleasantly surprised to meet 2 kababayans who work here as well! We were fortunate to meet Barbara—the brilliant talent behind restoring her family home, she also makes the best eggs we have had! “Queen of the eggs” she is. Breakfast was delicious, with something for everyone, let them know any food intolerances ahead. Bedroom was spotless, very comfortable and spacious, with amazing view. We only wish we had more time here and will definitely come back.

Palace in the upper town, extremely well located. Living rooms, magnificently furnished and immense rooms. Extreme comfort with unique view on Bergamo. The welcome of Alessandra and Barbara makes you immediately feel at home, kindness, availability.... They go out of their way to respond to the slightest of your requests (wise advice whether for restaurants or visits). It is one of the historic residences of the city, only 4 rooms in absolute calm! Personalized breakfast served in a very beautiful spring and delicate room..... These 4 days were a dream!
