Nice hotel with spacious bedrooms in the pretty village of Berdorf. The staff were pleasant and informative in this popular hotel for hikers and tourists on the beautiful Mullerthal 2 trail. We left our bags in the hotel then drove for 7 mins to Consdorf where we parked the cars and walked a short way to Scheidgen then walked clockwise on Day 1 to Berdorf. We stayed the night at the Trail Inn eating our evening meal there and enjoying the Inn’s own beer. The next morning we had a hearty breakfast, prepared our pack lunch and walked the second part of the trail back to Scheidgen. A weekend well spent!

Lovely hotel in a small town, easy to find. There is a small free car park next to the hotel and we got lucky and took the last space. The staff are lovely, speak good English and are very knowledgeable about the local area. The rooms are very large, clean comfortable and well appointed. The restaurant serves excellent food at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was also excellent.

Magnifique découverte!!! Au top tout simplement, de toute l’équipe souriante, de l’accueil au petit soin, de la grande chambre cosy, au restaurant très généreux et au petit déjeuner varié. Nach unserer ersten Wanderung auf dem Mullerthal-Trail sind wir spontan ins Trail-Inn und haben dort zu Abend gegessen. Der Trail-Burger war super saftig und frisch. Auch die Nudeln mit Scampis waren traumhaft. Bei unserer zweiten Wanderung auf dem Trail, zwei Jahre später, haben wir uns entschlossen auch eine Übernachtung im Hotel zu buchen. Es hat uns an Nichts gefehlt. Nach der Tour wurden wir herzlich im Hotel empfangen und fanden saubere Zimmer vor. Dieses Mal haben wir den Fischburger und die Spareribs gegessen. Herrlich. Der Burger war wieder schön saftig und die Spareribs waren die besten, die ich je gegessen hab. Die Knochen konnte ich ohne Mühe aus dem Fleisch ziehen. Das Fleisch war perfekt mariniert und super zart. Auf jeden Fall eine klare Empfehlung. Am nächsten Morgen haben wir dann die reichliche Auswahl am Frühstücksbuffet genossen. Für unsere Ansprüche war alles vorhanden: Kaffee- und Teeauswahl, Eier, Speck, Müsli, Obst, Käse, Wurst, Marmelade, Rührei, Croissants,... Fazit: Wir werden definitiv wieder kommen. P.S. Vielen Dank nochmal für den Hundenapf, den wir uns ausleihen durften.

Wir haben mit 9 Personen zu Mittag gegessen. Der Kellner war von Beginn an sehr unfreundlich. Beim Bezahlvorgang warf er mir trotz eines ordentlichen Trinkgeldes den Restbetrag in die offene Hand, obwohl kein Konflikt vorausgegangen war - eine nicht zu fassende Unverschämtheit! Schade für das Restaurant, dessen schmackhaftes Essen wir schon öfter genossen haben.

Wir waren 2 Familien, jeweils mit Kinder (4-6 Jahre), dort um die Mittagszeit essen. trotz kaum anderen Gästen hat es mehr als 90min gedauert um das Tagesmenü zu erhalten und den Kindern Pommes mit Nuggets und/oder Hamburger zu bringen. Wir waren schon öfter hier, aber früher war der Service besser! Das Essen ist gut, aber der Service ist verbesserungsfähig. Und es liegt nicht am Personalmangel.

Comment peut on avoir des notes aussi bonnes et être le premier hotel sur Berdorf, il y a anguille sous roche. Habitué des hotels sur Berdorf cet hotel ne vaut pas 138 euros avec un petit déjeuner Lidl. La chambre correct tout au plus , pas d'ascenseur qui fonctionne un week end , comment faire si on est handicapé. on nous donne les clés et débrouillez vous. C'est plus une auberge espagnole qu'un hotel et cela vaut à peine 80 euros avec le petit déjeuner. Peut être il y a t'il d'autres prix pour les sportifs , allez voir ailleurs .
