Hotels in Kannawa Onsen, Beppu

The hotel is near Kannawa Onsen, which is quite far from Beppu Station. We had a lot of luggage so we took a taxi which cost about 3,000 yen. There are not many places to eat around and you have to queue everywhere. The hotel room is quite spacious, but the heater was not turned on in advance. It was very cold when we entered the room. We turned it on for more than three hours but the temperature didn't come up and we had to put on a coat. The hotel has three baths, all of which are public baths, but fortunately there were not many people on the day we went and it was quite pleasant to take a bath.

I'm a little surprised by this hotel Good things: The location is very close to the attractions, the owner is very friendly Bad points (difficult to improve): The hotel was relatively deserted, and we were the only family in the entire building at that time. There is a broken house next to the parking lot (No. 2), which is very scary at night. The cooking area outside is very slow. It is recommended not to use it. Areas that need improvement: There is no hot water for bathing in the room, there is no hot water for bathing in the bathhouse, and the men's bathhouse was forgotten for us.

We were assigned to a room in the east wing on the 5th floor. When we got up to watch the sunrise, we could also see the sea. It was really great. The location was very convenient. There was a station next to it that went directly to Yufuin and Beppu stations. The service staff are also very nice. The hot springs here are very comfortable. There are rooftop ones with sea views and outdoor ones on the first floor. They are both great. It is recommended to go downstairs at night and get up in the morning to go to the rooftop to soak in the hot springs and watch the sunrise😜 The hotel is very close to the Sea Hell, Mud Hell, White Hell and Ghost Hell on foot... They are all next to each other, and it feels good to see smoke everywhere.

We left at 9 o'clock and returned at 12:30 to find that the room was not cleaned. We asked the waiter and he said that the room must be left before 12 o'clock before cleaning. I explained several times that I just came back and found that the room was not cleaned, so I came to ask you. What kind of logic is really speechless. There was an earthquake on the first night, and I contacted Ctrip to refund the room for the next day and return home. Ctrip did not contact me actively during the whole process. I kept staring and asking, and if they didn't ask, they would just wait for a reply.

The room is large and clean, the beer is delicious, the environment is very beautiful, the hot spring is very comfortable, and you can soak your feet on the roof to watch the stars and the night view. There is a public private open-air bath downstairs. You can use it as long as no one else is using it. There are also free hot spring eggs. The room comes with rock salt for eating hot spring eggs. Second hotel visited. The facilities are just a neat ryokan hotel that is a bit old. 1 small bath and 1 larger bath in another building (This is a place where not only guests but also outsiders come to take a bath, free for overnight guests) There is also an open-air bath. However, breakfast and dinner are buffet style, and there are many kinds of food and the quality is very, very good. So, I went back to the hotel for the buffet.

Joy is a bit like a family hotel, the entire couch room. Each floor is a shared toilet, but it is very clean. There is a common brushing position for washing your face. I like their Japanese breakfast most, and it feels like living in a Japanese home. It is especially warm.
