Popular Beppu 4-star Hotels

The teppanyaki dinner at Shenheen was delicious. Everything was perfect, especially the Japanese hands. The room was large and equipped with a bath, which was very comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle service to and from Beppu Station. After checking into the hotel, it is very convenient to visit popular attractions such as Umi Jigoku.

This hotel is about 10-15 mins walking from the JR Beppu station. It is easy to find as you just walk towards the seaside until you see the Beppu Tower beside a main road, the hotel is behind it. There is a 7-11 beside the tower, and a bus stop in front of the tower, so is quite convenient. If you take the bus to visit the 7 Beppu Hells starting from the JR station and follow the sequence, i.e. Chinoike and Tatsumaki Jigokus as the last two hells, and you take the bus towards the Beppu station, you can stop directly in front of the tower, this complete a full circle of your Beppu Hell tour. I booked a seaview Japanese room and the view is great. The room is also spacious for Japanese ryokan standard. There is some minor renovation and furniture replacement done, so the room is a mixture of new and worn. There are two onsen baths in this hotel: one at the top floor, an open air onsen bath and one at third floor, which is an indoor onsen bath. The dinner and breakfast are both average though. Overall, I am quite happy with my stay here.

We enjoyed our stay thoroughly. Service was very good. Parking was an extra 550 yen per day. Breakfast was Japanese style but did include a bacon and egg cooked in front of each guest with the small Japanese hotpot. Our room fit 3 adults was very nice with clean modern amenities consisting of one room with two single beds, and a sizable living room with futon in the evening for the third bed. Nice view of Beppu tower in our room. Hotspring outdoor was totally enjoyable with a view of the sunrise and the Beppu Bay. Gotta be careful though because for ladies, someone in a boat at the bay might be able to see our naked upper bodies with telescope if we stand up.😅

Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!

Stayed for two consecutive nights, except that it is a little far from the iron wheel area where the eight hells scenic spots are located (about 2,000 yen by taxi one way), there are almost no shortcomings. Of course, after living for two days, I still feel that living in Baiju's place is quieter and more comfortable. It is more than ten minutes' walk from Beppu Station and the commercial district in front of the station. The hotel has excellent facilities, the hot springs are quite satisfactory, and the changing area is clean and classy. The buffet breakfast is exquisitely made and amazing, and the Japanese and Western dishes and desserts are all good. Although the dinner menu was deliberately changed in two days, the dishes are relatively simple and the portions are small, which seems to be somewhat lacking in sincerity. The service in the lobby is very good. Every day during check-in and check-out, the waiters gather at the gate to greet and send you smiles and blessings. The Japanese-style rooms are clean and tidy, and the space is reasonable. Some rooms can see the Beppu Park shaded by green trees.

　What we chose to stay at Beppu Onsen is ”Bamboo and Cape's Inn Flower Beppu”. ＪＲ There were hundreds of ｍ west of Beppu Station and a large park called Beppu Park nearby. When I entered the building, I was guided to the lobby sofa for check-in. The large partition like the front desk and the lobby was made by knitting bamboo and was very nice. The whole building, including the rooms, is new and very clean. Our rooms were twin rooms named the standard ”maiden”, but they were Japanese style twin rooms with tatami mats and were very comfortable. The dinner and breakfast at the restaurant called ”Kosuke” were very beautifully finished, including the vessel, and it was delicious. I felt that the ”hospitality” of the staff was wonderful more than the facilities.

Really enjoyed this unique hotel that has a mix of art, onsen, great views and decent food. The room (419) was not luxurious but was well designed, the balcony overlooked the extraordinary landscape that is Beppu, the greatest feature was the semi open-air onsen bath facilitated by the floor to ceiling windows, connected to the generous deck space. It was fun to walk around the gallery space and admire the interesting architecture, color palettes, and exhibits championing Beppu culture, landscape, flora, fauna etc. Sitting in the Peak restaurant for dinner, I was amused that one of the waitstaff was a robot that ferried food and empty dishes back and forth. Dinner was laid-back, had a window side seat that allowed me to enjoy the city glitter below. My stay here was at a fraction of another Beppu hotel on this trip, in many ways I enjoyed this place more and would not hesitate to come back.

This is a traditional Japanese hotel that amazed me! I was a little nervous before booking, but after checking in, I felt very lucky that I chose Qinghai Village! Facilities: It is strongly recommended that everyone book a seaside Japanese-style room! ! ! The area is large and clean. The bathroom and shower room are separated into dry and wet areas (Ctrip says the room defect is a public bathroom, but the actual room has its own shower). When you open the screen, you will see tatami mats and a romantic blue sea view. Instant healing🥰The toiletries in the room are from Kao. They are so useful that I want to buy a set. There is self-service coffee and tea in the lobby. When I checked in, I made a reservation for the family private bath on the top floor. It is fully equipped and has a first-class view. I recommend it to everyone! Environment: There is a path leading directly to the seaside in the hotel lobby. Watching the sunset and rising sun is invincible, as if you have fallen into a fairy tale world. Watching the sunrise on the seaside from your room in the morning🌅 is a memory that can be recorded in a moment of life. I am grateful that life is so beautiful. Service: One stay and two nights are also quite an amazing experience. Dinner is on the second floor. There is a private room. The food is very rich. The sashimi platter is extremely delicious. There are two pieces of anchovies in it. The fat explodes in the mouth. It is so delicious. The wagyu is also very delicious. It is fun to grill it yourself. The dessert is refreshing jelly, which uses Oita's most famous yuzu as an ingredient. It is so delicious! I also ordered a glass of plum wine mixed with soda water. A large glass only costs 5,500 yen, which is a good deal! Breakfast is a traditional Japanese meal, and the white water tofu is super tender~ The service staff are also very friendly and kind, and there is no pressure to communicate in English throughout the process. I would like to experience it in the future and recommend it to everyone who comes to Beppu~

We used a train view room for 2 nights on family trips. I usually choose a hotel with a lot of word of mouth ＆ high evaluation, so I met the day with anxiety about the word of mouth of Matsubaya. It may have been low expectations, but as a result, it was all a nice inn that was more than expected, so I will write word of mouth for the first time in my life. I hope it will be a reference for anyone. First of all, I told him that I was a son of a train lover, and the lady gave me a very polite reply to the time of the train and the way to see it. The train view room looked in front of the window, and the children looked happy with the Shoji every time they heard it. There is a word of mouth that the freight train is noisy at night, and the sound is certainly good, but it was not so noisy that the children who were sleeping woke up. I really wanted to show you if I woke up because I was looking forward to the cargo in the middle of the night. SL was also very satisfied. The bath is a bit narrow as there was in other people's word of mouth. But in the morning, light came in from a lot of windows and it was a very bright and pleasant bath. The dryer was weak, but I had no problem with it because my hair was short... I stayed for two nights, but I had a completely different menu in the morning and night and enjoyed it. It was not a room meal, but I was able to relax in the tatami mats large hall. I was happy because this is a buffet hotel and there are always the same things even if I stay for 2 nights. All were very delicious! I was glad to have changed the menu a little for a 3 year old child. I didn't think I could eat ice shaving in winter, so I was impressed by the deliciousness of the child and the master. It was the best as an iron inn, and the room, the bath and the rice were very satisfied with everything. The personality of the inn was very warm and friendly. I asked you to build a rental bath, so I would like to go to stay again if I complete it.

The room is facing the sea. The location is really good. It's right next to the yacht marina, and there is a shopping center opposite. The room is very large. The information on the two meals written on Ctrip is slightly different. In fact, it can only be breakfast and dinner, and cannot be replaced. For lunch, two meals are still very valuable, probably worth a thousand oceans. The bathing place is very small, and it is estimated that there will be more people at night. I went there at 10:30 in the morning and there was no one, so I booked the place directly, which was okay. What I have to complain about is that when I checked in in the past, there was no waiter at the front desk. After waiting for a long time, one of them came slowly, and I didn’t say hello to us. I’m sorry. It really didn’t meet Hoshino’s expectations. I feel that the service of Japanese hotels Many hotels that cost one-third of the price are better than this one. I am a little disappointed. The food is delicious and the room is generally satisfactory. If the overall price is very good, it can be rated as an eight!
