The hotel is situated 15 minutes taxi ride from the Beppu station. So we have nowhere to go that night. But it's good enough to have hotspring and drinks in the hotel. The staff is very polite and can explain what you can do in English. Then you were lead to the room and tips rejected.
We booked the Kaiseki dinner and breakfast. The dinner time is either 6pm or 6:30pm and the breakfast time 8am or 8:30. The dinner is good but maybe my expectation is quite high, it didn't reach my expectation, especially for the sashimi.
For the onsen, there are 4 private onsens and 2 public. One of the private onsens is closed. Therefore we can use 3. You can use the private onsen when it is not occupied. Just lock the door and turn the plate to the other side. But all the onsen are closed by 12 midnight. And there is a room with free flow beer and soda, but it closes at 10pm. Don't drink beer before taking hotspring.
There is also an onsen in our room which can be used anytime. It's hot at night but not so hot in the next morning. Overall, the view is good. The staff is good. The food is good (just not so great) and the onsens are good. Beppu is a good place to stay a few days more

There is a free snacks & drinks bar for guest, thats is very thoughtful. The hotel is good for taking photos.

It was a very nice trip. The staff were very good with good service. And the food quantity was big, donno why some comment said they were not full. 😝
I have a very good memory there.
Just one thing if there are more individual hot spring room will be perfect ^^

The room was clean and tidy, breakfast and dinner were delicious. The hot spring was clean and well-equipped. The service was especially commendable.

The transportation is not very convenient, suitable for self-driving. If you don't have a car, you can take the bus to the foot of the mountain, which takes about 15 minutes to walk. The environment is quiet, there are five hot springs to experience, but due to the Spring Festival, the prime time is basically full, and the service is meticulous and thoughtful. The Wagyu dishes for dinner are very delicious, and the private baths and public baths are very clean. Although the breakfast tastes Japanese, the overall stay experience is great.
