I recently stayed at Kannawaen Sanso Ryokan, and it was a truly remarkable experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff’s warm hospitality made me feel welcomed and relaxed. The ryokan is set in a beautiful, serene location, surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful retreat from daily life. The room was spacious and tastefully decorated in traditional Japanese style, blending modern comforts with authentic charm. The private onsen attached to my room was a highlight, allowing me to unwind in soothing hot springs while taking in the picturesque views. What truly sets Kannawaen apart is the attention to detail and personalized service. The staff went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect, making me feel truly cared for throughout my stay. Quite a old hotel, reasonable price and environment, the breakfast here is quite nice, but the staffs in the reception counter cannot speak English and only give me some information catalogues in Korea. The location is good and convenient to go to the Youme mall which is the best shopping centre there.

This Super Hotel thoroughly represents ESG and its night bar and breakfast make it an exceptional experience. Although the twin bed room is quite small and not friendly for 2 person luggage to be opened.

This is the most cost-effective hot spring hotel (hotel) I have ever stayed in. I only spent less than 1,400 yuan to stay in the best private hot spring room, facing the incomparable sea view. At the same price, I can only stay in other hot spring hotels. I booked the cheapest room type and the front desk staff was very friendly. Although the facilities are a bit old and the bathtubs in the large public baths are not as comfortable as those in the private baths, the unique nostalgic atmosphere is also the hallmark of a hot spring hotel. To a guest downstairs: After a little research, I found out that there are no luxury hotels in the Beppu area. A slightly larger hotel can call itself a hotel. There are many such ”hotels” nearby. I stayed at the Tsuraya Hot Spring Hotel in Hokkaido for 4,000 yuan a night, and I always used a key to open the door. Even if the hotel does not meet the psychological expectations, you should complain after leaving the hotel instead of asking for a refund at the front desk before checking in. I believe that even in China, the hotel will not tolerate such unreasonable behavior. The person involved only exposed his upbringing. And the lack of common sense makes people laugh.

Everything is just perfect , from the arrival welcome drinks and the staff are nice. The Onsen is also beautiful. One thing is not good is the flashing on top of the ceiling is quite annoying for people who don’t like any light during sleep. If it can be improve, say can switch off during night time. Probably it’s a perfect hotel for family vacation!

The hotel environment is good. The hotel room faces the sea. The price is reasonable. One hotel and two meals. There are different restaurants every day. The food in the restaurant is of good quality. It is very close to Hell Valley. There are Starbucks and KFC opposite the hotel.

I booked triple room, quite big. The view is blocked by nearby building, so i couldnt see the sea from my room, not the same view as photo shown. The room i stayed has stain on the wall. Rooftop view is superb. The pool is a bit old as well as indoor onsen.

Excellent location. Take the bus from Fukuoka Airport and get off at Beppu Kitahama. The hotel is right next to you. Although the room is small, it is very clean and comfortable, and the sound insulation is also good. It fully meets the needs of one person. There are indoor and outdoor hot spring baths on the second floor of the hotel. It is very comfortable to soak in the evening after walking during the day. The Japanese breakfast is delicious, and the service staff is polite, friendly and thoughtful. There are also two Western-style family restaurants next to the hotel, Jolly Pasta and Royal Host. The price is reasonable, and you can eat satisfactory at 130 per person. I will stay here again when I come to Beppu next time!

The triple room I booked was pretty good. The hotel is a bit old, but the location is OK. It's a seven or eight minute walk from the JR station. The hot springs are OK and not crowded. We almost booked it once in the morning and once in the evening. There are free popsicles on the first floor and an elegant lounge. The breakfast was very rich and delicious. The restaurant was on a high floor and the view was also good. Unfortunately, the dinner I booked was automatically abandoned without compensation because I arrived too late. Remember to arrive early if you have booked a meal at the hot spring hotel. There are hot springs everywhere in Beppu. The Hell Tour is worth going. There is a bus stop at the door of the hotel
