You have to take off your shoes as soon as you enter the lobby, and hotel staff will help you clean the wheels of your suitcase when you enter. From the lobby to the elevator, you can go directly to the hotel room upstairs and downstairs, which is a very special experience. The breakfast was rich and the room was clean and tidy. Very satisfied, I will stay here again next time.

Travel with a group of friends to Beppu but only 4 of us decided to stay at Amanek for 2 nights. This was the best decision ever as we were closed to the JR station, eateries, Tokiwa shopping mall, Donki and the beach were within walking distance. Only few staff could speak English. Those who speak Japanese only also try their best to serve the guest. I am impressed by how clean and new the whole hotel is. Best of all, I love the free flow of juices & beverages. You could also do take away in the UCC coffee disposible cup. Love the choice of either western or local breakfast with free flow of side dishes. I am surprised by how big the bedroom is and spacious bathroom. The gym equipment tho basic, are new & in good condition. The onsen is clean & modern & I love the warm rooftop pool with an awesome view! Amanek is thoughtful to provide guest with a basket to hold all your onsen needs. Upon check out, I was overcharged for my 2 days of breakfast. The staff was quick to rectify the problem & refunded me on the spot. Yes, would definitely stay in Amanek again in my next visit to Beppu! Thank you for the awesome stay!

We drove our car so not sure about location but it is close to mall and eateries. The hotel is business-like with some tour group and fitted with onsen but very crowded. Parking is free. Hotel breakfast is amazing and very worth it!! Rooms are big in size and spacious!

I stayed for one night when I visited Oita friends. It was a lodging for a night stay, and the atmosphere was nice. There is a small living room on the first floor, a space like a rest place, and a bath is a rock bath in the inner bath and an open-air bath? The open-air bath is changed, and the dome type and the ceiling is lit up by the starry sky. However, if it is not electric, it is dark inside. After that, it is bright during the day, so I thought that there is not much effect of lit up. The rock bath was a bit bass, so I can't feel the effect of sweating. Also, the bath is large, so once it is cold, it takes time to warm the hot water easily. The second floor is a bed in the living room. I was able to slow down on the sofa or the bed in tatami mats. The futon and pillow were comfortable. I went out for a night stay, but I walked to a nearby baked meat shop, which was excellent. The staff was good. But I wonder if there is a repeat.

Same street of Beppu Tower, closed to long distance Bus terminal, 10 mins walk from Beppu train station. The location is good but the facilities are very old, we cannot get hot water after 15 minutes turn on the water tap. Then we go to public bath, but also take more than 10mins to get hot water. The public bath & public area is old with dim light。They really need furnish to get some more better facilities. The Japanese breakfast is very nice with good service generally.

This hot spring hotel is very close to Jinlin Lake ⛩️, and there is a delicious [Kama Fanxin] restaurant nearby 😋. I like its tranquility and cleanliness. I enjoyed the open-air family bath at night, and my daughter was very happy. In the morning, I also enjoyed the public open-air bath exclusively! We didn't order one stay and two meals, so we had to eat less dinner early, because many restaurants in the hot spring area will close from 5 to 6 o'clock.

This time I decided to stay at a slightly better hotel, so I used this one that opened last year and 4 people including 1 preschooler. I stayed in a triple room on the mountain side. I usually only stay in a room with a toilet and a bath immediately after entering, with two beds in the back, and a desk and a TV opposite (child talk). The two children were excited. There is a center partition on the road in front of the store, so the warehouse from the Beppu area will be a U-turn from where I went for a while. I checked in at 15:00, but I was distributing hell steaming and plum sake next to the front desk and had it immediately. It was delicious. Immediately after that, take a bath. I can't help but be worried about the food on the buffet table, but I think it's easier to consult with you if you're full if you touch the table service dish first. All-you-can-drink alcohol. I don't usually drink it, but because of poor development (laughs), I had a little apricot dew. If you are a drinker, it is heaven. There are many delicious dishes on the buffet table, so I was very satisfied. After the meal, go to the playroom with the child. Children were addicted to toys such as push pop, but there is a space where they can play in various ways. If you are traveling with children, you may come out once. By the way, there is no toilet on the 2nd floor, so this is quite troublesome. The room is new so it is large and clean. I think the view on the sea side is good, but that's a consultation with your wallet. I went to the bath from the morning the next day. It was around 6:30, but it was a reasonable entry. It seems that it is crowded if it is late. Breakfast starts at 7:30. The receptionist at check-in asks you the start time, but unlike dinner, it is not an hour system, so if you go at 8:30 or so, you will have a restriction on admission. The staff was also concerned about that area, and the table was about to be cleaned up when the bride & younger child was going to the toilet, and the older child and I were going to pick up dessert. There are some types of buffets that cannot be compared with eating at once in a mix of Japanese and Western styles. There are raw fish and some types of grilled fish are also served at the table. This was delicious. I mean, everything is delicious. Around the lobby on the 1st floor, there is a drink bar in the evening bathing space, and there is a coffee machine in the playroom, which is generous. There is also hell steaming, where you can enjoy plum wine or shochu, so even those who do not eat can enjoy it. Still, I think that eating can enjoy this place. Also, if you stay at peak time, you may be vacant and satisfied if you take early action (evening bath, morning bath, breakfast). I stayed with a lot of children. This time I stayed in combination with Harmony Land (if you go the next day, turn left and turn U). There are many rooms as it is, so it may not be suitable for those who want the quietness of adults. It may be good for a lively but OK group, a group that likes alcohol.

The teppanyaki dinner at Shenheen was delicious. Everything was perfect, especially the Japanese hands. The room was large and equipped with a bath, which was very comfortable. The hotel has a shuttle service to and from Beppu Station. After checking into the hotel, it is very convenient to visit popular attractions such as Umi Jigoku.

A hotel that can enjoy hot springs even though it is located close to JR Beppu station 1 minutes walk. The public bath can be enjoyed until 24 o'clock and ６ in the morning. Then, it is said that about 3500 yen with breakfast for one night is the price of the break. WIFI is also well connected.
