"The place was so beautiful and clean. It's suitable for young children or veterans is not recommend as far walking distance access to all area except theme park and arena of star for concert. Besides, the parking is far and have to find at highland hotel which opposite the hotel.
The hotel package comes with buffet breakfast and is very far at Genting Grand Hotel. The buffet breakfast was so crowded.
Overall everything is ok for us."

The location is perfect, offering superb views overlooking the mountains and RW.
However, a few things could be improved. The room had an unpleasant smell, possibly due to humidity. The food selection was also quite limited compared to other hotels.

"Room is ok a bit small for two queen beds. Toilet is clean and water pressure and temperature is great. Hotel location is within walking distance with few restaurants. Many parkings available behind the hotel. Iron is provided at the floor corridor."

"The room was quite spacious. It was clean and well maintained. The place is strategic with many restaurants open late till midnight along with other convenient stores. It was a late check in and the receptionist was very pleasant and gave clear instructions. The only downside is the curtain wasn't closing all the way of the windows so got lights peaking in . Overall, great hotel and hospitality."

"The location is very close to the bus stop, the room is enough, and the reception staff understands Chinese and English. There are many restaurants nearby to choose from, but passengers may need to know the name in it to facilitate taxi drivers to reach the hotel."

"Everything is good, but it will get a bit warm during the day time when the sun is up in the sky. The caretaker is nice, a lot of friendly guarding dogs around. Best thing to do is enjoy the freezing cold water at the rock pool. Will return again."

breakfast service has to be improved though. breakfast was ala carte and we waited close to an hour for our breakfast to be served. even the coffee took an hour. the next day, we just skipped the breakfast completely.

When you reach your floor, there's multiple hydration station near you which is very useful and convenient. The moment you open the door it smell lovely! Cleanliness is superb too!
The food at Lemon3 is decent. I'll recommend you to try their breakfast buffet that goes for RM38 between the time of 8-11am if I'm not mistaken. I paid RM35+ for a delicious mee goreng for dinner on my second night stay anf it was so delish and good in quality!
The only thing I would point out is the walls are thin, very easy to hear what's going on around you. Especially if your next door occupant is a family with kids.

Staff — very warm and friendly and welcoming
Room — basic, no balcony (view of the mountains), no basic things like; ‘do not disturb’ sign, tea spoon to make coffee, glasses (for drinks) — they had two coffee mugs.
Breakfast — good spread and tasty.
Rooftop deck — great spot to lepak with an uninterrupted view of Genting Highlands.
Verdict : 8/10 (mainly due to staff, location and breakfast)

AAnonymous UserWe were surprised that the apartment is spacious and fully furnished for a relaxing stay. Everything was clean: floors, kitchen surfaces, bedsheets.
Location was excellent for food and browsing. We didn't drive so the nearby shops were convenient and had everything you would need for food and daily necessities.

If this hotel were a car, it would be a flashy Italian model with serious build quality issues.
The best thing about this hotel is the price. RM200 for a king bed on a public holiday felt like a steal. Driving in from SkyAvenue, the road was dark, but the brightly lit parking area gave us high hopes.
Check-in via the self-service kiosk was smooth, though finding our room was confusing due to the odd 5-digit numbering. Thankfully, the concierge guided us.
First impression of the room: it matched the promo photos. But our excitement ended quickly. The door wouldn’t lock properly and kept beeping. A technician came, hammered the strike plate, and fixed it—hardly reassuring for security.
Next came the bathroom. Many reviews mentioned a bad construction smell, and they were right. The shower drained poorly, leaving a strong concrete odor as water pooled.
The kitchen looked impressive with plenty of cabinets, but surprisingly had no power sockets near the counter. I had to boil water at the desk instead.
The TV was another letdown. Supposedly “smart,” it had no internet or channels. I tried everything—resetting, power cycling—but there was no Wi-Fi option at all. So much for Netflix night.
Design-wise, the room looked sleek at first glance, but flaws showed up everywhere: paint splatters in the bathroom, noisy metal racks, and tile flooring that picked up every footprint.
The next morning, the sunrise over Genting Highlands was breathtaking—arguably the highlight of our stay.
Exploring the hotel, we found most shops, including Hard Rock Café and the rooftop, closed with no operating hours posted. Facilities like the gym, indoor pool, and kids’ zone were open but overcrowded due to the holiday. We skipped breakfast as it wasn’t included.
Checkout was quick and smooth.
Looking back, the real problem isn’t management, but poor construction quality that doesn’t reflect in typical rating categories like cleanliness, service, or location. The place looks good on the surface, but corners were clearly cut in development.
I really wanted to love this hotel—the concept, location, and price are great. But unless management addresses these quality issues, the high ratings are misleading.

MMaunesYou truly get what you pay for. Unfortunately, our stay at GRAND ION DELEMEN was disappointing. The air conditioning didn’t work, the bed’s wheel was broken, and the room telephone was disconnected—making it impossible to contact reception directly. There was no Wi-Fi either, so I had to rely on my own international data and call Trip.com just to get assistance. Service was only provided after several follow-ups, and it felt like our concerns weren’t taken seriously. We requested a room change, but it was denied. The condition of the floor, walls, and food quality were far from what you would expect from a 5-star hotel. I will definitely not be booking here again.
The only saving grace was the stunning natural scenery surrounding the hotel—the view was truly breathtaking. However, not all rooms may offer the same view; we were just unfortunate with our booking. Thank you.
