Royal Pines was amazing! Free parking on-site, top notch customer service and there are swimming pools to relax in. We saw there was a gym, playground with a large bouncing mat for the kids and a water park next to the large hot tub. They offered is a discount for their buffet breakfast (discounted from $29 to $30pp). We stayed in the spa suite and our room had the most amazing views - this is a photo from the bathroom window. Maybe the windows need a bit of cleaning but apart from that we would not change a thing! Love how all the important information is explained clearly on the TV in the room. The room was massive with a safe, closet for hanging clothes, bar fridge, kettle, tea & coffee, couch, desk and an extra seating area near the foot of the bed. Our spa was very nice and blew some strong bubbles - remember to bring your shower gel/bubble bath. We have previously tried their restaurants, Videre (high tea) gives you a fabulous view of the landscape! The Japanese restaurant provides impeccable customer service and delicious carefully made dishes - loved everything we ordered.

Booked at Tiki appartments for a family holiday and proposal. We booked the one bedroom apartment with a sofa bed as we had 4 of us staying. Apon arrival we expected a fresh and clean room with two beds set up for the 4 of us. Unfortunately it was NOT. We found that the sofa bed was still set up as a couch and no bedding to be found. We also noticed how dirty the room was from hand prints and splatter marks on all the mirrors to mold and dirt on on the floors, walls and bath. Also dead moths lying around on window seals. (Photos attached) After our 2nd night staying, we hadn’t received a room clean. We asked at reception and was told that they only service the rooms if we request it. We requested a clean for the next day but apon arrival the next evening found the room as we had left it. After another attempt of requesting a room sevice the next day we got one. From the 3rd - 6th day of staying 2 of us got quite sick and unfortunately put it down to how unhygienic the rooms were. - Hair dryer was faulty and didn’t work. - Fans only worked on the highest settings. - TV’s didn’t work. ( fixed after someone looked at it.) - Brocken switches everywhere. - Everything was dirty and sticky. -Views gorgeous. - Location perfect. -Pool & Spa perfect. This hotel needs a priority overhaul with maintenance and housekeeping to lift there game. If it wasn’t for the amazing night receptionist Sharna that did everything in her power to make our stay the best possible we would have gone elsewhere. Higher management please fix theses problems, all the reviews are the same over and over again.

The room and views were amazing. Property very clean, spacious and overall lovely property. The only problem was a howling wind that rattled the sliding door that kept us awake all night. We put a pillow up against the glass door, we opened the glass door slightly, but nothing stopped the noise. We advised on check out and we were told ”sorry” that's it. No offer of a $50 discount- nothing. $1000 for 2 nights accommodation with one night without sleep....

Very new and clean, The room is big and spacious, the environment is very elegant, there is a heated swimming pool, children's water slide°Like an independent small villa, will not interfere with each other. Very close to several parks, suitable for self-driving °

So, we booked 18 nights in this 3.5 star resort and the from the photos it looked very reasonable for the price. However, this has been the worst place we have ever stayed in. 1. Room was not serviced for our entire stay, even though the resort policy is longer stays are serviced every 7th day. We have been responsible for laundering the sheets and towels ans buying our own toilet paper. 2. The room wasn't clean to start with, dust on most surfaces including the ceiling and curtains 3. Room in serious state of disrepair and looks like it hasn't seen a paint brush since it was built. 4. We booked a garden view room. Not much of a garden to view and only meters from the drive and carpark. The main contents of the garden are cigarette butts from the filthy pig living in the room above 5. We tried sitting on the patio for breakfast, however this was interrupted by ash and cigarette butts raining down from above. 6. The room has no personality, prison cells we've seen in movies look more appealing. 7. Mattress on the bed is stuffed and should have been replaced years ago. I definitely will never recommend this place as it seems the owners are more interested in collecting the money than making sure what they're offering is worth it

The manager and staff are very kind and friendly. Everything looks brand new and perfectly clean. The room is amazing and so comfortable and quiet at night. The bed and pillows are wonderful and as comfortable as some 5* hotels I’ve stayed in. Such great value for money and a great place to stay and explore the Gold Coast from - especially the theme parks which are just a few minutes drive away. The food in the restaurant downstairs was super yummy last night and excellent value. The hotel is covid safe and called to check I wasn’t traveling from any hotspots in advance of my stay, which made us feel safe. Just perfect - we are very happy guests!

Very convenient place to stay when on the coast. Not far to beaches but in a nice quiet location and with nice rooms. We only had a basic room as this is all we wanted. Staff very friendly. close to train station and football stadium and close to shops and restaurants.

I love the villa style accommodation, it suits our family’s needs. To have the kitchen facilities it helps if you just want to eat in for dinner and make breakfast daily. The kids loved the pool and the playground.

I stayed here about 2 weeks in early Jan. I got a bed next to a balcony in a 6 beds room which gave me little extra privacy. The room was cleaned fine throughout my stay. The bed was not large but comfortable with a nice mattress, light and power sockets. There is a bathroom for a toilet and a shower (not separated) for the room. So, I had to share it with 5 others when all beds were filled. Common area at the basement was pretty good for having nice furnitures. The kitchen and dining areas were cozy and spacious. You need $1 or $2 coins for laundry and dryer ($3 each). If you struggle to prepare coins, apparently there is a self-service laundry and cash dispenser nearby (I didn't try it though). Definitely confusing to find the reception for check-in. You need to walk through between The Island and a teppanyaki restaurant on Surfers Paradise Blvd.

This hotel is in a great location and allows you to fully enjoy the atmosphere of the Gold Coast. It is also easily accessible from the Cypress Avenue tram station. There is a coin laundry so you can wash your clothes. The only amenities were two soaps and a small shampoo, so if you're staying for multiple nights, it might be a good idea to prepare a toothbrush, comb, shampoo, etc.
