Very clean. Rooms are comfortable . Food was excellent. Gardens are beautiful this time of year. Didn't have time to explore the trails would love to come back. Coffee and tea always available. Friendly staff, price was good included breakfast.

West Mountsin Inn is unique in every way and the best way to unwind and unplug in beautiful Vermont. We’ve stayed here many times and keep coming back. Rooms are gorgeous, staff is kind, food is outstanding, and the ambiance is unbelievable and relaxing. We love it here. Special place!

The West Mountain Inn is one of our favorite places. Their staff is warm, friendly and knowledgeable about the area for everything from restaurants to outdoor activities and cultural events. The Inn has beautiful rooms and lovely, cozy common sitting areas where you can curl up with a book or play a game. The breakfasts are fabulous! They also have lovely trails behind the Inn where you can walk/hike (depending on how far you want to go). We definitely recommend staying here!

The rooms are all individually decorated and named. We had Fisher and Ruggles. Both had outside decks. Very clean and well maintained property inside and out. The inn was beautifully decorated for the holidays. Breakfast was yummy. Dinner was also good and the only restaurant open on Christmas in the area. Their special 3 course Christmas menu was very good. The staff throughout the inn is welcoming and friendly. It’s nice to sit in the common area and meet other guests. We walked the trails around the property on a nice sunny Christmas day with fresh snow cover. We will definitely return again to relax.

Great time as always! Trails were snow covered. Rooms were spotless and well prepared. Staff was accommodating, polite, and there when You need them. Food and Service were awesome. Great seeing Amy, Emily, and Mary Beth. Definitely will return in future again and again!

I love this inn with my whole heart. The people are so friendly, the food so delicious, the common spaces and guest rooms so comfortable, the wandering golden retrievers so lovable. I went to a wedding here about 10 years ago and now visit about 3x per year. Can't imagine a better place.

The Inn was recently awarded TheKnot Best of Weddings 2025, TheKnot Hall of Fame, and 2025 WeddingWire's Couple's Choice Awards and with good reason....although my recent trip to the Inn did not include a wedding, it was without a doubt an exceptional time of warmth, rest, delicious food and accommodations for my family. The staff is caring and attentive. If you ever dreamed of the perfect, quintessential visit to an Inn in Vermont this is the place to go..... a time and place to reconnect with your loved ones without the distraction of big and small screens.....we played games with our grandchildren, took them sledding on the best sledding hill in Arlington and laughed until we were in tears. And when the day was done, we ventured to the warmth and comfort of our beautifully appointed rooms......we are beyond grateful for the treasured memories of this magical place in Vermont.....

I wanted to treat myself while visiting family and the suite did not disappoint! Much better value than the cheaper options in the area. This place is charming and very, very clean. The staff made me feel right at home and accomdated all my needs. Thank you for having me!
