Econo Lodge Bellefonte I-99

On day 2 of our stay there was only 3 towels available for 2 people to take a shower However, the water was so luke warm, you really could not take a shower They did not want to make the bed on day #2 They did not even empty the trash that we had in the room We ran out of Kleenex in the bathroom-too bad for us--they never checked to replace it They had a USB charger in the room-it did not work The air conditioning was not adequate The floor was so dirty. that if you walked on it barefoot or with socks, the bottom of your foot tuned black from the dirt They had a small coffee maker in the room, however, they did not check and give us more coffee for day #2. They had two packs of coffee to drink but only 1 pack of sweetener and stirrer-I suppose I was to use my finger to stir the second pack They had digital tv in the room, however, half the channels did not work. They advertise a breakfast buffet--it consisted of cereal w milk, coffee, and rolls or pastry-not what was advertised. We paid $130/night for what turned out to be a barely adequate room for a high price- I would have preferred in retrospect to pay an additional $50.00/night and stay in a decent place. When I told the lady at the front desk there was no apology, she said she would talk to housekeeping. What housekeeping?????

I have stayed here several times in the past two months as I am working in Bellefonte. This place is amazing! The staff is very friendly and always willing to help you with anything you need. When I open the door to the room I breathe in some of the cleanest air I have ever breathed. The floors are newer there is fresh paint and the bathroom was renovated probably in the last six months. It is immaculate for the price. If I am working anywhere in the area there is no doubt about where I will stay. I have no cons about this place.

Not far from highway and far enough from town but close to dining. Room had an odor of when one sweats and doors are closed.
