We arrived at the Valmar slightly apprehensive after early reviews but determined to to be positive and enjoy, We were even offered an alternative hotel the day before we travelled. What a mistake that would have been to change , we had a lovely week, the views are amazing overlooking Corfu and Albania , on arrival we were met by Kostas the Manager and Maria the guest relation manager and what a welcome, smiling friendly service, we were given welcome drink and then taken straight in for lunch, food was great, the rooms were fine with comfy bed and amazing pillows. What makes this hotel is the staff, they really want you to have a good time, yes some are still training but they were always smiling and checking in with us to make sure we are having a good holiday. with the more experienced staff taking the lead,. the bar staff were lovely , Angela at adults pool always suggesting great cocktails . The adults pool was so relaxing with sunbeds with luxurious cushions, always found a sunbed , just the right amount of entertainment day and evening to enjoy but not over the top, The rooftop bar in the evening was a great place to be , Thiala the assistant bar manager looked after us so well .The young entertainment team did a great job.,The young man who did the aqua aerobics and games, is such an assist to this hotel We could see this hotel improving everyday. We had a fantastic family stay at the newly refurbished Louis Valmar Corfu, and I can honestly say it exceeded our expectations. The hotel has been recently updated and feels fresh, modern, and stylish — it’s clear that it will only get better with time. The staff were outstanding — always friendly, attentive, and willing to go the extra mile. The manager Kostas was present and engaging with guests, which really sets the tone for excellent service throughout. Special thanks to the chef, who catered without fuss for dairy-free dietary needs — much appreciated! Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with a particularly good bed and pillows — we slept extremely well. Little touches like robes, slippers, and daily replenished water, along with regular linen and towel changes, made the stay feel extra luxurious. We never had an issue finding sunbeds, either by the beach or the pools. Each pool and the beach had its own bar, making it easy to stay refreshed wherever you were. The drinks were varied and of good quality, and the evening entertainment struck a lovely balance between fun and relaxing - we particulary enjoyed the disco ! The specialty restaurants were a real highlight — not only was the food amazing, but the locations were stunning and the service was first-class. Swimmers will appreciate the clear, warm sea, teeming with fish and marine life. If you're up for an early swim, don’t miss the sunrise over the water — truly breathtaking. There's also a water sports centre at the end of the beach if you're feeling adventurous, though we didn’t try it ourselves. Reception staff were always available and happy to help, and the entire hotel — from the rooms to the grounds — was kept immaculately clean. We wouldn’t hesitate to return and are excited to see how this hotel continues to evolve. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing and high-quality Corfu escape.

We have had a fantastic week with 6 of our friends, from the arrival to the departure we had a fantastic time, excellent staff, fantastic location. Valmar Corfu is an excellent hotel with the most helpful staff I have ever came across. Staff were amazing in all aspects even with arranging day trip lunches for all of us. The amenities were excellent and very well kept. Minor issues with the room were sorted immediately after a quick discussion with reception so again credit to the staff. Kostas and his team run an excellent hotel and we will be back. Absolutely beautiful location and beach bar setting was amazing. Well done Valmar.

We had a very pleasant stay and a very nice treatment in the spa . Highly recommend the Greek massage and the facial treatments. Our masters were Marianna & Mateusz , very professional and friendly

The rooms are small but this wasn’t an issue for us , no finishing touches in decor yet but that will come with time I’m sure. The building contractor must have rushed to get things finished in time for the opening July 1st so there are issues and if you want to look for them you will find them. We chose not to be bothered by the small stuff as the rest was so good. The staff make this place special ! Smiling, welcoming, can’t do enough for their guests . You really feel as though you leave as a friend. The food was very good as were the drinks . We were premium all inclusive but not all premium drinks were included. Some were chargeable. The sun loungers and pool towels were always available ( very comfortable loungers!) The hotel wasn’t at capacity when we were there . We will definitely return and would highly recommend. Special thank you to Maria Balasinou the guest relations manager she goes the extra mile to ensure guests are happy I had emailed the hotel and added a request through my booking agent to have a high floor. When we arrived our friends checked in before us and all three of their rooms were fifth floor , we were given a third floor room . So not much point in sending any requests as they are ignored. I asked if we could be moved to the same floor as our friends and we were accommodated later in the day once the room was made ready . We appreciated this and got on with enjoying our stay . The staff make the hotel a five star experience! The buffet restaurant has a different theme every night, the two a la carte restaurants had set taster menus . Both were excellent!The drinks were also very good apart from the orange juice at breakfast, most of the time it was very watered down making it unpleasant. I would highly recommend the Valmar and we will definitely return.
