Aldea Maya-ha is such a peaceful, soothing, space to be, to just be. Julio and Elba are amazing hosts and make one feel so at home and taken care of, with their food, lodging, cenotes, and maloka. What an amazing stay and close enough to the beach and town, but far away enough that you get the seclusion you desire. I cannot recommend this place enough, it helped rejuvenate my over-worked spirit and I plan to come back to Aldea Maya-ha. Much gratitude to this space and its owners (plus two cute dogs). Gracias!

This is a wonderful venue with incredible construction in the Mayan tradition and two cenotes to swim and sit beside. The food is amazingly fresh and wholesome. The owners are very helpful and know the area. The jungle is beautiful and safe.

We were looking for somewhere that is beautify and we could be in the jungle, near cenotes, could do ceremony and eat good food. Aldea Maya Ha exceeded all of our expectations! The cabins were beautiful and were obviously crafted with care and love. I spent a lot of time marveling at the craftsmanship and skill that went into them. They were clean and comfortable. The property was just remote enough – not too far from Puerto Morelos beach and not too close to anything else. You could use this as a home base for your explorations or just stay here enjoying the cenotes, wildlife, sound of the wind in the trees and the activities (Temazcal, etc) they offer here. The two cenotes were magical, each with their own characteristics and attributes that made them very special places. We ate many of our meals here and the the food was excellent every time with the variety and vegetarian, vegan and non-veg options kept everyone happy. You have to try the vegan ice cream, by the way! Julio was an amazing host. We had a couple special requests and he went to great lengths to make it all work. His communication, generosity, cheerfulness and love for his guests - each at such a high level - is something I have never experienced in my travels around the world. All the staff was super friendly and helpful. We came back for one more night on our way back to the airport so we could take in a bit more of the magic of this place. I already want to back. There is a lot of great info and pictures on their website – check it out!!

It was beautiful and serene. Fully in the jungle and totally in nature. Julio makes delicious food. We loved the guacamole and fish tacos and smoothies! There’s a Cenote to splash around in and it’s a real place to retreat. We slept so well there!

We inadvertently booked at this great place when our flight out of Cancun was canceled. The owner went out of his way to make us comfortable when we arrived after midnight. The place is somewhat rustic in the way of a game reserve hut, but it is very comfortable and clean. The shower was semi-outdoors and very pleasant. The breakfast was scrumptious. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

Keeps getting better on each visit. We’ve seen the growth of this place since 3 years ago and it’s better on every visit, they now have 2 beautiful private cenotes and kitchen, which by the way, is a most try. I had the Aldea’s eggs and the pasta, both are delicious.

very satisfied! The food was incredible !!! I did not even look at the menu, I asked Julio and his wife to do anything as long as it is VEGAN. my taste buds exploded after every meal! incredibly good and just Mexican! Perfect service and very personal, we sat for two nights with Julio and shared wine where we talked about everything possible. The area is very secluded and away from tourism which is nice. The rooms are good, very simple! super cozy from hearing the bird sounds in the morning. Highly recommend this place to everyone!

A very special place, in the middle of a small piece of jungle. Julio and his wife are excellent hosts. He gave is a lot of nice tips to do. All prices (food, drinks, pick-up) are fair and Julio is honest. He made us a nice offer to pick our friends up from Cancun airport (2 times). Everything is relaxed and it was a perfect, stress-free getaway for us. Definitely one of the best options in the area.

Wow. If you want to stay somewhere off the beaten track that takes you back to basics then this is the place for you Located just a short drive from one of the most beautiful beach areas in the Yucatan with lots of shops around. Aldea Maya-Ha is family friendly, the staff are very welcoming and accommodating, the food is very good, and the other guests were all extremely nice as well. We enjoyed breakfast every morning, and had an on site massage. The team are well connected and knowledgeable when it comes to organising or planning and suggesting places to go and visit during your stay. I would suggest making sure you have your own vehicle if you want to explore Mexico, otherwise taxis can be expensive.
