Hotel Servigroup Torre Dorada

This hotel was brilliant. The staff were amazing and very friendly. The breakfast was superb. Close to the beach on a hill or use the stairs. Get the no2/no3 bus just down from hotel to Benidorm old town. Loved this hotel .

Fantastic one week stay here. Quiet area next to Gran Hotel Bali. Old Town is 30 minute walk along seafront with plenty of shops, bars and restaurants to choose from. If you want to visit Benidorm centre we walked it a few times but if you walk round the corner to the Gran Bali get the No 3 bus (€1.60 single) or there is also a taxi rank just along from the bus stop at the front of the hotel. Hotel Torre Dorada itself is spotless and rooms are spacious, we were lucky to have a sea and pool view from our room. Plenty of beds at pool and the pool also has a bar for drinks and snacks. Breakfast is buffet style and caters for all needs. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a quieter stay.

My husband and I stayed here for my birthday! We had a fantastic day the rooms were clean. The Aircon was amazing. The staff were fantastic. I was even given a bottle of bubbly for my birthday. The drinks made at the pool bar are fantastic especially the daiquiris. The music is always on around the pool there is entertainment of an evening, but we didn’t stay in to see this! We were on a full ball basis and found that lunch and dinner was amazing. There was always fresh salad and fresh meat being cooked. We really enjoyed it! If we were to come again, we would definitely stay here!

Hotel itself we could not fault , pool area plenty of sunbeds till Saturday when all the Spanish takeover , the noise in the hotel is horrendous hardy slept in a week , running on corridors banging and slamming doors all hours as well as the shouting and screaming from the stags and hens , don’t come here if you want a relaxing holiday. Can’t wait to get home

Stayed for a week with my family, We had full board which is ideal! Breakfast 8-10 Lunch 1-3 Dinner 8-10 Drinks are not expensive (cocktails 8euros) The food was lovely and alot of options are given especially at breakfast. There was always a table available and the food was never running. Breakfast also includes hot drinks and juice. The labels for food in English need to be looked at as the translation wasn’t too good (gypsys arm to describe a roulade, poor potatoes for roast potatoes and angels hair for apple pie :) ) The pool is a good size although there is a massive fountain thing in the corner that doesn’t seem to work and just blocks your view of your sat round that side. The pool is in the sun all day. It does say the pool opens at 10, however we found that people were leaving towels down from 9 then going to breakfast despite signs saying if they are left for 15 minutes or more they will be removed. There isn’t enough sun beds for the amount of people staying so if you go to lunch you need to go in split shifts to avoid your towels being moved by people waiting to lay down. On one of the days people had left their towels down for almost 4 hours without being moved and the lifeguard did nothing when they came back( these belonged to a Spanish family) we think he knew them. however he had removed towels from another Sunbed next to these ones that had been left my an English family which I don’t think is very fair and the family was not happy when they came back. They were in the wrong but then everyone should face the same rule. There was entertainment in the day for adults and children including an aqua carpet (something to run across the pool on) which everyone loved and also a foam Party which is also a lot of fun. The evening entertainment however needs a revamp and I’d say a lot of people left the hotel to go elsewhere during evening. Cleaners were exceptional. The main glass lift makes a loud noise which you can hear in your room With the door closed but you get used to it. Tv in the room has English channels The hair dryer in the bathroom is pretty pointless, you’d be there forever trying to dry your hair. It was quicker to sit on the balcony for 15 mins and my hair was dry. Shower pressure is good and always had enough hot water The WiFi near the pool is great However we couldn’t use it at all in our room (6th floor) The beach isn’t far just prepare to either walk up and down a lot of stairs or use the hill which is far better, and you pass shops on your way. The sea views are spectacular and I’d advise to ask for seaviews as the other side is a view of the hotel Bali.

The room was comfortable and clean . shower was powerful. Air con was great if left on all day . Rooms got very hot if not left on and took a while for the air con to be noticeable. Food was OK. Dining staff could smile now and again. They seemed to favour the Spanish guests and smiled and chatted to them. English guests not so much. But this was the dining staff . The rest of the hotel staff ere friendly Hotel was clean and reception staff friendly and knowledgeable. There is a gate at the bottom of the hill witj a lift that takes you to the pool area. You do need your card to get access to the lift. To be honest the hill wasn't as bad as I was expecting but it's definitely not for those whose mobility is compromised. The beach wasn't as near as I'd have liked and I did take the stairs that lead directly to the beach. Mercadona was around 7 minute stroll next to the Grand Bali Only criticism is the towels on the sunbeds . Unless you got there as the gates opened all the ' prime ' spots were taken up with towels . I got there one morning as the gates opened and a family of 4 reserved sunbeds and I was there 4 hours and they never returned in that time . There is a sign saying that sunbeds can't be reserved for more than 15 minutes but this wasn't enforced in any way . Another morning a hen party showed up and reserved at least 8 beds right next to the pool. One of them stayed behind and the rest of them went for breakfast while I was there. You will always get a sunbed but you'll be relegated to the second row and behind . The pool entertainment mainly geared towards the children. I saw aqua aerobics twice in 5 days Pool area was clean. Can't comment on snack bar as never ate there but was told by reception you pay as you order or you can have it charged to your room BUT you need to set aside a card with €100 ' deposit ' and whatever isn't used gets refunded back to the card. I've been to the servigroup Orqnge before and this was very different. It wasn't like the sister hotel but still ok value for money. The hotel lights up in different colors every night.
