Hotel Agua Azul - Adults Only

On our arrival Pilar checked us in, what a beautiful friendly lady, made us so welcome and explained what we needed to know. The wristbands impressed us as it had a chip in it which unlocked your room door when you put it against the handle, so no room key or card to think about, brill idea. Room was immaculate, we had a city view, the view was ok tbh, you dont get the sun until late afternoon, but it worked for us as we used to have a stroll and when we got back, relaxed on the balcony before showering ready for the evening. Always hot water available, nice walk in shower with 2 shower heads, pump gel and shampoo on the wall ready to use. We only made breakfast a couple of times, but enjoyed what was there. Lunch and evening meal was all cooked to perfection, not a massive choice, but something for everyones tastes. Plus the kitchen staff was always making sure food was stocked up and wiping down any spills that had been made. Tables cleared as soon you had finished. Great bar staff, was always smiling and up for a banter. Entertainment was a little hit n miss, we enjoyed a few acts though and a quiz or two. We was all inclusive so all our drinks was also included, most spirits was branded which you dont normally get. We only booked this holiday a month before, i had never heard of the hotel, but we wanted to be in more of the old town so this was ideal. Im not keen on huge hotels and this seemed perfect. I honestly cant fault this hotel and the lovely friendly staff. We will definately be back for another stay X

Just had 2 weeks at this amazing brilliant hotel. Everyone one of the staff were friendly and always smiling. Special mention to Ray, Alex, Sergio and Irene. We had all inclusive and the food was the best we’ve ever had. We are definitely booking again. Thank you for making our holiday special.

Very clean very friendly everything you need for a holiday drinks are really lovely but strong you can get a bottle of wine for your room and even bags of crisps. It was my husband birthday and they put a card and a lovely gift in our room for him lovely thought

Amazingly clean not like some hotels that i have been to in Benidorm over the last 30 years. Pilar on main desk is a star no thing of to much trouble. Virgina is keeping are room spotlessly clean. Much appreciated. The drinks are branded drink Not local on the all inclusive. It's a situated a stone's throw away from the old town which is very nice for a walk at night. The coffee's are nice which is not always the case at the hotels. The only small minus is the pool area could be a little bit larger.

Cannot fault this hotel. We splashed out, and paid extra for a room with a large balcony no 5. These rooms overlook the pool, have sun lounger seats, 2 seats and a table. Cannot understand the fuss re the glass frosted doors in toilet? The lavatory, is hidden. The shower area is large, and has a powerful shower head, water always hot, plus full size toiletries, also in the en suite wash area, which has a magnified mirror attached to the wall, as well as a normal mirror. If you like to sit to put on make up, take a magnified mirror, as no mirror in bedroom above the dresser, apart from the full size, on wall. Plenty of hangars in wardrobe, and good space for clothes. There are no drawers in room. The chambermaids, look after your room, and we had fresh towels whenever we wanted them, room always spotless, after they had been in to clean. Air con for heating in winter, as well as for cool in summer. Safe and fridge. Comfortable beds, spare warm blankets in wardrobe. The great part of getting into your room, you don't need a key card, you use your All inc bracelet. The restaurant is situated on the pool area level, as is bar and entertainment area, with lounge. Premium drinks, including bottles of wine, cava and a cocktail list. Entertainment is varied, something different each evening. The standard of cleanliness is high throughout the hotel, even more so, in the restaurant, where sanitising hands before entering is asked for, and understandable, as I did see people picking up items from the buffet with their hands, when tongs are in view. The food caters for all tastes, I defy anyone to say they can't find something to eat. A wide selection for all 3 meals, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Also a show kitchen, which does various dishes daily. Breakfast is brilliant, even honey still on the comb, and home made yoghurt, fruit, nuts, all type of eggs, bacon, even black pudding. At lunch or dinner, you can get a bottle of wine for your table. Pool area lovely and clean, water looked inviting, but it's too cold in December. The old town is right from hotel entrance, 5 mins walk over the small bridge, turn left for beach, and new town is left about ten min walk. Lots of lovely shops and tapas bars in old town, dove Square is pretty, and just near the quieter beach. We had a lovely break, and would certainly return, the staff are all professional, and welcoming, which adds to the experience. Stayed at aqua azul from 24th November for 7 nights, went with my husband, sister-inlaw &, friend, we had another fabulous stay at this gem of a hotel, this being my husband & I 6th time staying here it once again didn't disappoint, on arriving at the hotel we were greeted by very pleasent staff, & checked in quickly by Pilar, we were on the 1st floor just above reception had rooms next door to each other overlooking the pool as requested, rooms were spotless cleaned & fresh towels everyday & beds very comfortable, a nice touch in the room was a gift box containing some cava & snacks with a card thanking us for choosing to stay here again, also got another for my birthday on the 26th which was very nice of them, food was great plenty choice with show cooking as well, where there was always a meat or fish dish to choose from, pizza made there to, breakfast time they cook English bacon, omelettes & poached eggs on request. Snacks available in between mealtimes and also in the evening, Drinks in all inclusive are all branded drinks & also good choice of cocktails, entertainment has improved since our last stay, maybe some acts not to everyone's taste but a great effort made to entertain us all, well done to Ray , staff are very pleasent & hard working. Would like to thank all staff & management for keeping up the high standards of this great hotel. Will definitely be returning next year.
