INNSiDE by Meliá Costablanca - Adults recommended

Had a long weekend at this hotel for our first trip to Benidorm. We chose it for the boutique hotel style, beachfront location and modern decor and was not disappointed. We had a lovely room on a high floor, with sea view as requested. The staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. The breakfast in the stylish restaurant was delicious. We had planned to use the beach each day, so the small pool and limited sunbathing area and beds were not an issue. I have recommended this hotel to friends for short stays and wouldn’t hesitate in returning.

Holiday was a celebration of my 70th birthday. I was disappointed when I got my room as I was looking out on to a brick wall, it was very dark and grey. I did go to reception and the lady changed my room as she could see how disappointed I was. I also asked for a kettle, it arrived with 2 cups. My room wasn't cleaned for 3 days as I didn't know you need to change a dial outside your door. My friends and I were all on different floors , as single older ladies we would have liked to be nearer each other, also my friends changed rooms as they weren't happy.. it was a waste of an afternoon, but on the whole hotel is what it is. Food cold , not labelled up either, waiters not friendly very grumpy at times. I think because they work such long hours. The sun beds , well there isn't enough room for anymore. We did manage to get 2 on the last few days. The hotel is very quiet at night, entertainment finishes at 11.30 pm , but if you want pubs and bars it's only a short walk.

time at this hotel arrived late Saturday morning with a friendly welcome from the reception staff ,booked in, and told our room was already for us to move in. The Room was a sea view ,which was spotlessly clean and nice and fresh, a fridge full of water,juice, and a few welcoming beers, which were replaced every day free. The rooms are serviced every day if you require or just lay back and enjoy the lie in. We had the B&B package, which suited us as we like to stay out and eat local. The breakfast was very good with a great choice for everyone, especially the omelettes which were lovely. Very polite staff who were there to help at any time. The pool area was lovely and cleaned every morning and doesn't open till ten, giving you a chance to get a sun lounger, which doesn't take long for them to be taken. This place is absolutely ideal for beach lovers with 1 minute across the road. You are on a lovely clean beach with plenty of loungers and activities available. It's a short walk into the old town for food and a few drinks or go the other way into the fun and madness of the new town . Overall, I give this hotel a 10 lovely clean place in the right area. I can’t fault this hotel at all. What an amazing place. The rooms are super and with gorgeous views from almost all rooms with large balconies. They are comfortable and with a lovely shower. They have a super breakfast with everything you might need. American breakfast with pancakes, English breakfast with hash browns and even fried bread and many options for a continental breakfast ( fruit, croissants, rolls). The coffee was great strength and thank goodness it’s was an unlimited. Every morning there was a different atmospheric live music presence like soothing guitar music, harp music or a singer singer. All to a lovely noise level and great to wake up to. The pool is brilliant. We had no big troubles securing a bed at some points of the day. Reservation of bed is not allowed and the great security is keeping an eye on bed with towels without people using them for a while to make them available for others. The system is great and stops people holding beds al day without being there. The staff in this hotel is just the best. They really are genuinely friendly and super helpful. We loved the guys at the pool bar that make you laugh every day ( more) . Location is just perfect. It’s right on the beach with the pool looking out on al the passers-by. It’s private yet you can see everything going on. It’s close to the old town and it’s not far to the English part either. Both foot travels are flat or it’s super fun walk if you into people watching. If you are not a walker then you can get a bus pass and go 1 or 2 stops to old or new town or get a mobility scooter from close by. We absolutely loved this hotel. Top marks for the all the staff here!

Right in the middle of the beach action but still very silent when you close the balcony bay window. Excellent staff, good breakfast. Pool area is rather small but just cross the street and get to a superb beach. If you need parking, make sure you book before coming, when I got there there was only one spot left. Parking around is impossible. Studio rooms are full sea front view at 180 degree (I was in room 428) spectacular!

The hotel is beautiful, however you do not receive breakfast on the day you are checking out. This is not highlighted in the booking and £20 each is extremely overpriced. Furthermore, when we booked there was not an option to have a balcony. Whatsmore, do not think that you will be lucky enough to get a sun lounger by the poolside, the same people every day got up early before it was open to place there towels down. One gentleman all week took up two of the beds, yet he was alone. One couple took up two tables, one beside the poolside and one in the shade so that they could keep moving about when it suited them! On the plus side, when the security guy was on duty standing at the entrance he always greeted everybody with a smile and helped some of the older couples with their mobility scooters.
