Its a good hotel, near a lot of foodcourt or cafe, at night so many food stall open. Infront of the hotel got gokart place to play. On the left and right side hotel got place to eat. Receptionist is good, but they only gave one key card to access the room, so if you want to left the room with charger device inside, you have to leave the key inside the room and have to ask receptionist open for you. Not efficient way because i had to que up to 4 people only for asking to open my room 🫠🫠 PLEASE CHECK THE ROOM CAREFULLY, the cleaning service not washing the glass properly, ive been leaving the room for being clean and come back later, want to use the glass, i saw the coffe mark from my morning coffe is not being wash, only throw the water a bit, and the glass is still sticky, then they put it on ready to use position. I have to ask for a mat towell, tooth brush, and toilet paper refill and ask them to mop the room floor again because when i comeback, its not being mopped. When i ask, they said the room was already being clean 😒 Cleaning Service only make up your bed. Nothing else. 🫠

We stayed as a family of 3 for 2 nights. The room was clean and neat. Check in was fast and hassle free. The staff were helpful and friendly. Location of the villa is good, walking distance to nearby seafood restaurant. Distance to shopping malls is not too far too as you can easily get a Gojek there. It is around 6km to BCS mall and A2 food court. One down side I feel was the lack of variety for the breakfast, it would be good if there is buffet spread. The music from the neighbouring cafe/pub was pretty loud till which could disturb guests who may be there to chill n relax. It didn't bother me very much probably I was tired out so slept pretty well. Overall a pleasant experience staying in this resort. Highly recommended for couples who wish to have a romantic getaway.

The rooms in this hotel appear to be slightly run down, although for the price that one has to pay for it, it's quite value for money. The beds and toilets (bathtub too!) are relatively clean, if you can look past the peeling walls and ceiling, it really is a good hotel with nice amenities. The hotel is situated in a convenient location, and the hotel even provides shuttle services to tourist spots in Batam. The breakfast isn't spectacular and personally I think it's quite plain. I would much rather choose to eat outside.

Room is very clean and spacious. Service is great too. Realised the kettle is not working well, requested for it to be changed and it was quick response. Had the complimentary shuttle service at 11am and 5pm to Nagoya Hill Shopping centre and Grand Batam Mall. There is only indomart nearby. You have to take grab out but that’s not an issue as it’s very cheap. But sad to say that the lounge and rooftop bar are very quiet. No one at all. Other than that, experience there was awesome!

My partner booked a standard room for my birthday. The room was on the 12th floor with harbour view (room 1231). The hotel building is 13 floors with the lounge on the top floor. The room came with king sized bed with bay window seats, the bathroom had a bath tub and a separate shower room. Plus point for ladies, powerful hairdryer! Love that there was a day curtain (manual) and blackout curtain (automatic with switch) to adjust natural light coming into the room. The staff throughout the hotel was polite and helpful. The pool + swirl pool + kids pool is on the 5th floor overlooking the sea. The gym (24 hours) and spa (was advised by the spa staff they opens 10am to 10pm daily) is also on the 5th floor, easily accessible from the lift lobby. The gym is well equipped with 3 treadmills, 2 elliptical, 3 stationary bikes, 2 free weight benches and some machines. The pool is clean (my stay was on weekdays) 25m in length at its longest length. Decent for laps. Great views overlooking the sea. The the whirlpool at the side is a plus point. Level 2 of the hotel connects to the adjacent Bayfront mall. The restaurants at the promenade are accessible from level 1 of the hotel lobby. There are a lot of food choices, mostly seafood restaurants. Also a hotpot restaurant. Only disappointment was the spa (Quan Spa). Went for the Quan Day Ritual for Two (2.5 hours) which included stone massage, ear candling, coffee body scrub and mask (plus V-spa Retus for ladies) for Rp 2,000,000 before taxes (with taxes was about Rp 4,000,000 = SGD 400). Quality of masseurs was poor (massage techniques, temp of the hot stones), inattentive service, unclear instructions (possible due to language; masseurs speaking simple English). Wasn’t told about the start of the mask, only to realized we had to rest for 15 mins for the masking process. Also insufficient information given for V-Spa Retus which was done near the end of spa session. Quite disappointing given the price point.

Staying at Hana hotel feels like in a clean star hotel, very cheap, very affordable, located in Nagoya in the middle of the city Batam near the Puja bahari market, where to access ”happy breakfast is just to stay transit 1.2 nights in Batam is perfect

Here annually, because of its superb location - near a large mall, near several massage centres (my perennial favourite being Thai best), near several excellent food places (must check out Mickey Mouse 66, as well as the coffee shops in its vicinity), near several wholesale shops but they do sell individual items (fantastic branded knock-offs at fantastic prices). As for the hotel itself, rooms are large; with basic amenities and free mineral water. Concierge is reliably helpful, friendly and efficient. Receptionists (same air of sulkiness, whoever is manning the station, whatever time) and buffet breakfasts (why eat here when there are superb choices nearby) are consistently below average, whether the hotel was “Gideon” or is “Gideon by Aston”.

Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is having a good advantage on location, located in the heart of Batam Center, where luxury and homey abound. It is an old hotel, but it is well maintained and it is connected to a modern life style, near local culinary and having a good entertainment with roof top bar. The staffs are giving a good hospitality and helpful. Sahid Batam Center hotel could fit for business and personal use. Over all, Sahid Batam Center Hotel & Convention is a good hotel to stay. I visit Batam almost every week and this is my favorite hotel! Since July 22, I estimate I have stayed 40-50 nights in the past 11 months. On paper, this is a 3 star hotel. But the rooms and facilities feel like 4 stars, and the staff is 5 stars. A big Thank You! to all the staff who made my stay enjoyable. To Mugi, and the rest of the Reception staff, thank you for always being cheerful and helpful. Thank you the restaurant staff who are always helpful, even in the face of my unusual requests. And to the always smiling lady who collects laundry who makes always takes that extra step in effort and service. What is great: The rooms are largish and clean. The decor is bright and cheery. The bed, pillows and bolsters are the best in Batam. I get the best night's sleep here! The shower has good pressure and the water is nice and hot. And again, the staff is FANTASTIC! What is no so great: The breakfast is average. The WiFi has improved and is fast but sometimes there are outages. But this may be more of a Batam thing than a Hotel thing. What you may think is bad but is not really: The location. There are no shopping centers or shops nearby that you can easily walk to. But the location is actually pretty ok. Because it is near Nagoya, you can usually get a Grab in less than 5 minutes. And Grab is pretty affordable in Batam. The hotel is about 10 minutes from Harbour Bay and 15 minutes from Batam Center. It is 10 minutes from Nagoya hill and 15 minutes from Grand Batam. Plus, the hotel sits on a hill. From the top floor bistro, you can see the sea (and Singapore) 270 degrees around!
