The location was really good for walking downtown. The people were very accommodating and kind. As a solo traveling woman staying in the female only suite, I felt very safe. The beds were clean and tidy. I would definitely stay there again when in the area.

I like it has so much outdoor area to be in and the choices of food with the food trucks. Walkable to downtown and very low-key and casual.

Straight Up Youth Hostel I should’ve known better. But, the website makes it look better than it is. All in all, it wasn’t a bad experience. But this is a youth hostel. Bunch of 20 something’s staying long term. Kids were nice enough and the price was right, but if you’re over 30……you might pick a different spot. My bad for not doing more research.

Good food truck energy and lovely music performers! Inside, rather dirty and needs lots of love pertaining to room conditions, etc, tho would not be too hard or costly to update!

I blame myself for not researching the rooms at Bunk and Brew more thoroughly. Bunk and Brew seems like a happening and friendly place for travelers looking for a cheap, communal experience. We were looking for a downtown stay (we are local and we’re looking for a short staycation). Bunk and Brew was the least expensive downtown choice (still it cost 189.00 per night) we selected a private room, not realizing the bathroom was shared :( To summarize: Great youth hostel, not-so- great for older people hotel.
