The greeting by Monty & Moray was joyful! The room was spacious, and I loved staying there. The view out the bedroom window was great. Some water, some green, and the ruins of the temple. The restaurant area was in a conservatory, really lovely on a cool day. And there was even a double rainbow. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent. With great choices for both. The Temple View Hotel was central to an unusual landscape of water and landscapes.

A really lovely hotel with great food and service. Good attention to detail and great quality rooms. It seems that the hotel was recently renovated as there’s a feeling of newness to it. The bar area is lovely, cosy but big enough for different groups of people to sit.

i have stayed here several times on my tour of the Outer Hebrides. Friendly owners. I had originaly planned here earlier in year but cancelled due to weather and I was allowed to change my date without any charge. I had a comfortable single room on ground floor. Good evening meal and breakfast. I will certainly stay here again if in the area.

Perfect respite after cycling 4hrs in 45mph winds. Easy to find on the Hebridean Way and ample storage for our bikes. Rooms were beautifully decorated even having a table and 2 chairs and plenty of tea and coffee, a large bathroom & comfortable bed. Staff were friendly and the bar and restaurant had a good range of drinks and food which we consumed from the sun room overlooking the sea. We would recommend.

Beautiful hotel, best we stayed in out of 8 we stayed in the outer Hebrides whilst cycling the Hebridean way. Immaculate and tasteful decor with great attention to detail - even bikcycle storage. Beautiful views. Everything about our stay was perfect. Thankyou so very much

Excellent accommodation and food delicious. Very warm welcome and lovely friendly staff. Can thoroughly recommend a stay here and a bracing walk up to the Temple was just the ticket to start a day of beautiful scenery and sightseeing on the island.

Temple View is a fantastic base for exploring North Uist and beyond. The accommodation, the food and the service are absolutely top notch. Susan, Steve and the Team care very much about the experience they deliver and they really hit the mark. We wouldn't hesitate to book again ... and neither should you - you won't be disappointed.

This hotel is a superb place - a Hebridean haven. This was our third time staying. It is immaculate and sooo comfortable. The welcome is warm too! After a sound sleep in lovely linen, the gorgeous views from the front whilst eating a wonderful breakfast are not to be missed..

Lovely little hotel. It had a spacious, comfortable bedroom and a very clean well equipped ensuite. The food was excellent and because it is owner-run they couldn't do enough for you. A lovely and restful nightstop for our Hebridean Way cycle.
