I checked into this hotel when passing by. It's right on the side of the road. Parking is convenient. There's not much to see around, but it's very close to Macheng, just over ten minutes' drive.

This hotel is rated on the lowest scale possible, every Euro you spend in this hotel is a waste !!! The "manager" is only telling stories and the food is far from fresh !! This is a typical Fletcher hotel = Money first , customer later.

Hotel carpets are worn out, stained and dirty. Paint is peeling off radiators, walls look dirty and stained. All paintwork is damaged. Think hard about considering this hotel. The manager is also abusive and vey rude with no customer care. Rate this hotel as a doss house.

A fairly basic hotel, 10 minutes by car from Maastricht. The room was adequate. We had chosen, at a slight premium, for a bigger room, which it was. The bed was a bit on the soft side. Carpet had seen better days. Most likely some decades ago. Bathroom was the same. Everything worked, but quite outdated. Breakfast was okay-ish. Very frequent refills, but quality wise nothing to write home about. Staff is very friendly. Parking lot of the hotel is not easy to find when coming from the direction of Maastricht. Parking lot was also full. Good thing there is a huge parking lot across the street. The main problems: Staff leaves at 10pm. The front door is locked from the on. Which is not an issue as you are given a key. But the elevator also get switched off. Which becomes an issue in case you are not abke to use the stairs. This piece of information is not on the website. I had requested a room either on ground level or acces by elevator, but only found out after check-in that I could not use the elevator after 10pm. An email would have been nice to let me know that I would need to be in my room before that time. The noise. This hotel is old, and noisy (hence turning off the elevator at night). Earplugs are available/in clear view at the front desk. Which should tell you how often this is an issue. During our stay the couple in the room above us thought a 2am shouting match was appropriate. It was not. I’m glad we were able to book the room at a serious discount. Otherwise the rating would have been much lower. I don’t think we will come back.

Nice place, with welcoming reception. I want to thank all the employees of the hotel, for the wonderful reception extended to me. I hope to see you again. My stay has been one of the best while visiting Maastricht City..

I have never stayed in such a bad hotel in my life. Photos do not correspond to reality. Staff not friendly at all, even very rude and the service is unbelievable. There are blood stains in the mattress and even in the curtain. Toothpaste stains are on the stall and mold in the bathroom. The bar closes at 9/10 and the staff can't wait to get home, even though they don't officially close until 11. By the way, there is no place where you can sit after the bar closes early and you are actually forced to go to bed. In addition, you also have little or no hot water and it may also be the case that you have no water at all. There is also a thick layer of dust on the cupboard and the staff says that this is normal and happens every day, while it looks as if it has not been cleaned for years. We booked this hotel under Fletcher's name, but I will never stay in a Fletcher hotel again because of this experience. Staff does not look for solutions and actually tells you to figure it out yourself. To make a long story short, NEVER book a room here unless you want to be disappointed.

After reading the horror stories on various sites, I left with a grain of salt. This turned out to be correct. The hotel is a bit older and in need of some embellishments or renovation. But the stay was good without a doubt. Room neat and very clean. Bathroom old but in order (had booked a small room). Breakfast very good and extensive, even without croissants because we were very busy, had breakfast late and everyone was finished. But more than enough other goodies to fill it out. Staff very friendly and busy. We would come back if we are in the area.

Old-fashioned rooms but clean. The staff is just doing a good job and being nice. Food is always good. Location is perfect for traveling to Maastricht by train. If the hotel is full, the parking lot will be too small, but parking is available nearby. A room renovation is necessary.
