Definitely the best and very affordable accommodation, centrally located. Peaceful atmosphere and beautiful garden. Delicious breakfast served with a smile every day. Very friendly staff and Mary is a wonderful hostess. Will definitely stay there again.

I absolutely loved my stay at this guest house! It’s so peaceful and relaxing, with a beautiful environment that makes it the perfect escape. The services were amazing, and I couldn’t have felt more cared for. A huge shoutout to Samantha and Yanga; they are incredible! They made sure I had everything I needed and were always so friendly and helpful. The owner, Mary, is such a lovely person. She’s so thoughtful and really goes the extra mile to make sure her guests are comfortable and happy. This was my second time staying here, and I’m already looking forward to coming back next year for the third time in a row. Also, the location is ideal, just a 25-minute drive to the Waterfront and 35 minutes to Stellenbosch. Plus, there are some fantastic wine estates and great restaurants close by. If you’re looking for a peaceful, welcoming place to stay, I can’t recommend this guest house enough!

Since the first time I stayed over at Maroela House, I realized that this is an excellent place to call my second home from home. Friendly staff, clean rooms geared with all the necessary equipment. The food is of high standard and delicious. Peaceful during the day and night. If you feel hot, cool yourself in the clean pool with beautiful views. If you choose Maroela House, you know you have made the right choice. Special thanks to everyone at Maroela House for this lovely experience. Hope to see you all soon.

Mary Pat is the most gracious host! I've stayed at Maroela Guest House on numerous occasions over many years, and can highly recommend this establishment. The staff are friendly and accommodating. Rooms are clean and tidy. Gardens are well kept and serene. Location is comfortable and central, perfect for business travel.
