From the moment I arrived at Hotel Mirabeau, I knew I had found something special. I was looking for a place that felt truly authentic, somewhere that captured the heart of Italy and this hotel ticked every box and more. Flavio and Flora, the incredible hosts and owners, made my stay unforgettable. They are the heart and soul of the hotel. Warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do, they made me feel not like a guest, but like family. It wasn’t just hospitality it was heartfelt care in every detail. They couldn’t have done more to ensure I was comfortable and happy. The hotel itself is full of charm, perched perfectly with breathtaking views over Lake Como. Every sunrise and sunset felt like a painting. The food was delicious authentic Italian dishes paired with fantastic wine and the whole experience was relaxed, warm, and deeply personal. If you’re looking for a true home away from home in Lake Como, with unbeatable views, sensational food, and the most special hosts you’ll ever meet Hotel Mirabeau is it. I can’t wait to return. If you stay here you will need a car! Busses are very infrequent and there isn’t anything much around shop wise. We got stuck in Asso and the lady behind the desk said she would pick us up for 70€ so we walked. Room was small and a bit dated. The most stressful break we have ever had.

Small friendly family run Italian hotel/b&b, if you want all mod cons look for an Ibis, if you accept charm for what it is, stay with Flávio, Flora,Narcisse,Camilla, Andrea and Ernesto, truly lovely people. The food was delicious and the view exceptional, remember your approx 3km above Lake Como as the crow flies and approx 15 mins by car down to Bellagio. Only 1 negative the boy motorbike racers who like to rev up the winding road, never bothered us, but it might some. The terrace offers spectacular views of Lake Como, and added bonus swimming pool with snack and drinks bar. Would definitely return for exceptional hospitality.

I stopped for lunch and was positively impressed by the view that to say beautiful is an understatement because the view of the lake is enchanting. I ordered a second course: roast beef with vegetables, very good and plentiful. Moderate price and friendly staff.

Structure with excellent location with breathtaking views of Lake Como. Excellent cuisine (both owners are passionate about cooking) with fresh ingredients, bought at the market every day. Fantastic breakfast with lots of biscuits, brioches, croissants, cakes, etc., made in case. Beautiful garden with ample parking, swimming pool with ample space for deckchairs and sunbathing. Excellent and very kind service. Perfect structure for families, as children are welcomed and pampered as if they were the owners' children. Highly recommended.

Zero, deserves no stars. Avoid absolutely! Terrible welcome, rooms dating from 1980, raw concrete shower that doesn't drain, 40-year-old door frames, dirty pool, broken and uncomfortable beds, go elsewhere! Don't bother having breakfast, the hotel is so disappointing and decrepit that the meals are probably just as bad, we didn't even have breakfast

Non sono solita lasciare recensioni negative, questa volta devo purtroppo fare un'eccezione. Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per una notte e non mi sono trovata bene. Ho pagato una cifra molto elevata per una camera arredata con mobili non nuovi e mancanti di alcuni pezzi, inoltre entrambe le lampade da comodino non erano funzionanti. A tutto ciò si aggiunge che, nel cuore della notte, sono stata svegliata da un rumore terribile causato dal distacco dal soffitto, e conseguente caduta, della struttura delle tende, fatto abbastanza preoccupante dato che, di fronte alla richiesta di spiegazioni, la risposta è stata che la tenda era stata aggiustata solo il giorno prima. Al di là del possibile rischio, quello che mi ha stupito è stata la cifra pagata per la stanza, non in linea coi servizi offerti.

Stanze senza aria condizionata, molto rumorose in quanto affacciate sulla strada statale e sulla terrazza del ristorante, e come se non bastasse una festa in piscina con musica a tutto volume ci ha accompagnato fino a mezzanotte inoltrata non facendoci chiudere occhio anche con le finestre chiuse (e morendo dal caldo!). Inoltre la mancanza di tende alle finestre fa entrare la luce del sole già all’alba! Colazione pessima e totalmente disorganizzata il tutto per 140€ a notte!!!
