It was a good stay overall. My only negative feedback was loud construction noise that occurred from 8 am to 5 pm daily due to the building renovations and expansions.

We had a wonderful stay at Golden Bay! The hotel is beautiful and immaculately clean. The staff are all very professional, welcoming, and helpful. We loved the restaurant /rooftop patio. They had excellent live music on Friday night. I was pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food. All the servers were fantastic - they all keep an eye on ever guest’s needs, not just their own tables, making sure you never want for anything. Holdane made us feel like we were at home with friends and meeting him was one of the best parts of the trip! We also had great service from Britney and Jairo. Definitely recommend!

We recently hosted a corporate event at the Golden Bay Hotel’s Vino Tinto Restaurant, and it was an excellent experience. The staff was incredibly attentive and made sure every detail ran smoothly. The food was delicious, adding a wonderful touch to the event, and the atmosphere was perfect for a professional gathering. Vino Tinto’s layout works beautifully for both corporate functions and social events, with ample space and a welcoming ambiance. The rooftop view was a highlight, offering stunning scenery that enhanced the overall experience. If you’re looking for a memorable venue with great service and a beautiful setting, Golden Bay’s Vino Tinto Restaurant is a fantastic choice.

Super location, nice building and outstanding staff. The rooms were very clean and cozy. Food was great as well. Overall, very happy we the stay. We booked the hotel shuttle from the airport which was convenient and well organized on the hotels end!

Our stay at Golden Bay Belize Hotel was truly exceptional! Orlandel's customer service was outstanding; he went above and beyond to ensure my wife and I felt welcomed and cared for. The room was beautifully appointed, and the room service was simply amazing—delicious food delivered promptly. We had such a wonderful experience that we will definitely return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Belize!

Shuttle service was nice and comfortable and easy. Hotel staff were welcoming and friendly. The room was clean and comfortable and mostly quiet. There was notice of construction in progress for growth so understood. Close to airport. Nice view of the town and water.

Visited Belize and stayed around 7 days total at the golden bay hotel. Rooms are ok. Comfortable and clean. Cleaning and restaurant staff were great but reception staff not very welcoming or friendly. Food was good for the best part but I ordered a Belizean breakfast but was hugely disappointed as fry jack and beans were both stone cold. There is a shop next door to the hotel which is very reasonable for drinks, food and souvenirs. Big thing at the moment is the expansion of the hotel. When finished the hotel will be double the size but at the moment it is a serious building site. And, as such, it's a lottery whether you get a room with blacked out windows, as we did. It was a bit like a prison cell rather than a hotel room and the limited free breakfast wasn't really any consolation.

Golden Bay Hotel was our home for just 1 night as we prepared to head back home. Nonetheless, we loved the views, it was comfortable and we enjoyed dining at their rooftop restaurant, where the amazing Brittney served us dinner and added a sparkler to our dessert to help us celebrate our honeymoon. We also appreciated the breakfasts that were complimentary due to our room being by construction. Our driver, Adrian, was also very helpful both when he picked us from the water taxi and drove us to the airport.
