Best Western Plus Belize Biltmore Plaza

The hotel was above average.not all inclusive establishment but with prices so reasonable we didn't mind. It was clean and well sanitized daily. I even observed a worker wiping the hand rails with Lysol disinfectant. The Jaguar Bar was the best. The bartenders were superb hats off to Ms Wade & Ms Ciego they were great. The wait staff was just as professional special thanks to Ms Siera & Ms Rishell

This hotel is a great option if you are passing through Belize City and need a safe place to stay, which is what we did. Our family of 4 was only there one night. The view from our room was absolutely stunning. We could even open our windows and get fresh air. We had dinner at the Tavern restaurant at the hotel, and it was ok. The downside of this hotel is that it is rather dated and overdue for renovations. Our room (not in the tower) was noisy. There were these extremely loud birds from about 4am to 6am (not sure what the hotel can do about noisy birds but it was really intense.) Our room also did not have a refrigerator. Note: as of March 2022, the rate through the hotel for the airport shuttle to BZE airport is 20USD per person one way. We found a much cheaper option through a local shuttle company for a family of 4…45USD one way private shuttle.

The restaurant next to the hotel is also very good, the shrimp ➕ mashed potatoes and blue flowers are particularly delicious, and the pizza is not bad. The breakfast in the hotel is relatively simple, egg bread milk coffee and tea, occasionally there will be small cakes, slow hands. There was a bathtub in the bathroom, but I still gave up the bath because I was still worried about the bathtub being unsanitary. The room has air conditioning and wardrobe, the wooden structure is more distinctive, the ceiling has a fan, the air conditioning is under the window curtains, the bed is big enough to be comfortable I like it, and the retro lounge chair and leg stool. The window faces the sea and the scenery is very good. There is also a public bath in the hotel, but it is a bit dirty, I saw a branch inside...
