I used to stay here and thought it was ok, but now it's getting worse. Maybe there are more tour groups and the service quality has also declined. The restaurant staff don't look happy when they see Chinese people, and they are not active in serving food. There is not even a boiled egg for breakfast. I will not stay here next time.

There was no sofa, only a chair. The elevator from the parking lot to the hotel was broken. I wandered around for about five minutes, and the stairs and elevator were not together. I went to the front desk and talked about the elevator, and the staff said that it had been broken for a long time. I didn't take my luggage afterwards. The hotel is very old, but the hygiene is not bad. It's convenient.

Was back for the first time in over 3 years. I always liked this hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the staff were really nice. The breakfast is fairly sparse like it was years ago but the things they have are all things I love. So excellent. Of course when I’m back in Belfort this is the place.

Very nice hotel .Again received very nice hospitality from staff...always take care of you with smile.Good breakfast.Itbis only the good option for the luxury stay in belfort. Very near to the bis stop and city center.

Receptionist was the only professional staff member we met. Breakfast was mediocre and staff was not varing about the guests at all. We were upgraded due to ALL membership, but the room was not at all as expected - contrary to a number of other Novotels we have stayed at. Safe box was not working and the room was worn down. Very disappointing

Good hotel with polite staff and specially resturant staff who take care of your food as a vegetarian ....rooms are good with required amenities...very good option for family and business trips. Good options available for food in breakfast for vegetarian and main thing the hotel staff is comfortable with english so no problem in conversation with them.Play area for kids also a good thing

I arrived on the holiday weekend for a 7-night stay. I was upgraded to an "executive" room, which looked just like the one in which I stayed 8 months ago except for extra cans of drink in the fridge. The safe did not work - I requested a repair 3 times but it was never fixed. The bottle of hand soap was never refilled - the housekeeping left 2 bars of soap on the 5th day and 3 tubes of shampoo on the 6th day. I guess they did not know how to open the bottles - I tried but I couldn't, either. On Monday, I asked the young lady at the front desk if the restaurant was open for dinner. She said "Yes, but all the food is in the jar." After an exchange of Q&A's, she finally said the food was for the workers and not for the guests. At nearby Mercure, the restaurant was open as usual. Why could not Novotel do the same, especially on the holiday when many restaurants were closed?

Although ideally located for visiting the city and offering great potential, we wonder how this aging establishment still has 4 stars as a global renovation is necessary. If I rated it "average", it's only because the presence of super welcoming and friendly staff raises the rating.

2nd stay. Chain hotel located a stone's throw from the old town, at the foot of the ramparts. Little space nearby, paid underground parking (around €13 for the night). The elevator arrives directly in the Arena lobby, a little disorienting. Jovial welcome. Classic room, without noise, wifi and functional A/C; Possibility of dining on site or in town. Breakfast OK but few places if a group is present.
