I stayed June. I must say service was very poor. The unfortunate part, came from the reception team who did not seem to communicate with each other at all. This became a serious issue as I did miss key parts of my cousin's wedding due to a basic lack of communication. I stayed two night, I was put in the Mull on the seventh floor with my mum who has medical needs (along with using a walking stick). I paid for the Saturday night to have an extra bed as another family member who was coming to stay with us. Now for some reason they had the bed already set up on the Friday, they also did not have any notes regarding this extra bed (I paid everything on check in). Now during the night, we were next to the exterior fan system for the events room, now it was not until around 23.00 that we noticed the level of sound was quite extreme and we did expect to sleep. So we had to ask to move rooms meaning we had to pack our stuff back up. Now the first room we were offered, had us walking across the bar area with a lot people watching us. Only for the room to be too small, as they could not fit the additional bed, which I had to mention as they forgot about us needing that. Then they found a room on the seventh floor, now I did ask what would happen with the bed. They said they would sort it no need to worry, this unfortunate was not true. As the following morning, I checked again about the bed was told no need to worry they would sort it out. It was not until around 20.00 as I had to drop something off to my room that the bed was still not in our room. So, I had to go down again, to ask where is the bed. They said it was not on the notes, I did say I had requested one. Their response "there would be no extra coast this time", to which I had to say, but you already took the money already. they said they would set it up. I checked at 9ish no bed, rang down only to be told it was my fault the bed had not been set up, (I believe Pamela or something along those line was there name) can I ask how it was my fault? You should my room number on the account. Especially when you said you'd sort it. The bed finally got set up at around 21.30, in my view the bed would not have been set up to all, if not for my own ability for having to ask repeatedly for this bed that I paid for. All because someone has not been reading the notes correctly. Please do also note I ended up missing the cake cutting and the tea at the end due to this issue. Even then no apology was given. It was not until, I was checking out that I was told the extra bed and late checkout was on the booking notes. She was the only one who said sorry. The staff who work in service bring food and serving drinks, are wonderful. Along with the one woman who was working on check outs.
