Don't be fooled by how beautiful and clean the hotel is. It is all of those things. We did have a lovely holiday but it didn't live up to expectations. Unfortunately, the service isn't as great as it looks. We had a family 2 bedroom corner suite with many problems. I immediately asked to change rooms but they said they'd try to fix the problems. The problems didn't get fixed after 2 tries, so we were offered a new room 2 days later, but we only had a day left by then and that room was downgraded views and I wasn't sure there wasnt problems with that too, with 2 small kids we decided it wasn't worth moving anymore. (Usually with problems in a room that isn't your fault you would be profusely apologised to and offered an upgraded or same room) we were also warned if we don't move then they will be making noise to fix the problem. I asked if they could wait a day until we leave and they said no. One of our showers were flooding the bathroom and so was unuseable, the drains smelt really bad which spread into the bedroom which meant we all had to share a bathroom when we had paid for a 2 bathroom suite, the bedside sockets didn't work -which one side did get fixed. Cleaning staff left our room door open all day. Our door got jammed one night and we had to leave the door open all night, even our bedroom doors physical lock didn't work. As a group of women and children this felt very unsafe. An apology was only given when I said "you haven't even apologised". The balcony glass was shattered so I couldn't let the children on that balcony. There's no soundproofing in the rooms, there was thumping music until 1am every night. My sister had loud noise disturbances in her room nextdoor at 2.45am. The staff don't have great English, it's catered more for the russian customers. All the pools are cold, including even the heated indoor pool so don't believe the heated pools advertised. You get a WhatsApp assistant that doesn't really help, instead says ring this number, go to reception or I'll pass your concerns to the manager. There were 12 of us and yet there was no extra help. If the assistant is off, there is no replacement cover. We didn't get told that a la carte had to be booked 24 hours in advance so we never ate at any other restaurants. I wrote a review on the last day and as soon as they saw this they gave us a free lunch in a villa restaurant, the service there was impeccable, but unfortunately it took that to get any real recognition. We prepayed thought the hotel and no other compensation was offered. While leaving we had pre-booked our transfer throught hotel, the taxi didn't come and when we tried to find out he had forgotten and the hotel refused to take responsibility. He came 30minutes later. Kids club the children really enjoyed-Saifullah is the best! But make sure you find staff that speak English, if you are leaving them there, and ask them to look after your children.
