The apartment is at a great location, especially if you have a car :) It is not too far from Beau Vallon Beach, and there is also a little beach in 200 meters. We had a two-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor of the main building, with amazing view to the mountain and the garden with pool. This apartment was very big, with a huge, perfectly equipped kitchen. Bedrooms are also nice big. Air conditioner is only in the bedrooms, but in the living room and kitchen there are a number of ceiling fans, which is enough during the day. Bathroom is also nice big. Towels and beach towels are provided. Towels and bedding are changed on every 4th day. Shower gel and soap are also provided. Cleaning is done each day, very thoroughly, so the apartment is always nice clean. Breakfast is okay, but I think this is the only thing where this establishment should improve. Everyday the followings are offered for breakfast: one type of toast bread, one type of cheese, one type of ham, one type of cereals, butter, marmalade, pancake, sausage and 4 variety of eggs (fried, scrambled, poached and omlett) and fruit (orange, mango, pineapple, papaya and watermelon). Fruit juice, coffee, tea, milk and cacao are available as drink. Around the pool, there are 11 sunbeds and two umbrellas, but given that there are a lot of trees in the garden, it is easy to find shadow at all times, even without umbrella. Pool is cleaned each morning by a very nice guy, who is also responsible for the garden. He does a great job for sure, because the plants are simply beautiful :) Staff is very kind and helpful. Reception is open between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM, but outside of opening hours, they are reachable via phone in case of emergency. We were very lucky, because even though the checkout time is 10 AM, we were allowed to stay in the apartment until 8 PM, which was a big thing for us because our flight back home was scheduled to depart at midnight :) All in all, we had great time here, this apartment was a very good choice!

The first thing to remember about this hotel is that one needs a car, the second thing is that there is no restaurant facilities, its self catering, but without the oven or a proper cooker, just a 2 ring and a micro. The room was fair and there was a sized terrace, air con worked ok. However, it got a bit cold at night and in the absence of a blanket so I had to turn it off. There was a TV with about 13 channels which took me a while to work out how to switch it on and get it to work. In the end I had to get the manager to assist me, The staff carefully took my temperature every day, even knocking on the door to get me to come down to take it. The hotel though is not really for singles, and its best staying in one of the bigger more expensive hotels if you want to mix with other single guests. Much of the time I appeared to be only one there, apart from American couple who were obviously spending weeks living there. The Restaurants around the area were ok but, to be honest, its not the best part of the Island: that honor goes to the the area around the CONSTANCE EPHILIA hotel on the West Coast. Beau VALLON is the nearest village and , to me, at any rate, it seems a bit faded. The hotel claims its 15 mins walk from the beach but I reckon that it is further. Quite a few of the restaurants were basically tourist traps, one or two were not bad, e.g. LA SCALA or MAKNEK, a local Indian. The weather, itself, quickly faded and it rained pretty much every day. The sea was also rough so diving was not pleasant, and visibility in the water was very poor. i went to try to walk the Coachella trail 3 times and each time it was closed, so was the natural history museum. Between the Corona, and the Christmas holidays, the Seychelles basically winds down at this time of year. Be aware of this if you think that its relatively cheap at this time of year. Also lying on the beach and getting drenched was not a great idea so one quickly runs out of things to do there in what is largely a beach kind of holiday place.. The principle town, VICTORIA, has a small fish and veg market, but otherwise there is not much to see there. The town seems full of economic migrants from African countries queing up to send their money back home at the money changers and banks. To cap it off the last two days there was a mini lockdown and all the restaurants were shut in the evening. I found one small cafe open the first night, but the second night I ended up eating a take away from the only take away open whilst sitting on the floor of the car park. Not really my taste. Summing up the hotel was reasonable, as far as it goes, but going at this time of year and in the midst of Corona was a mistake. The Seychelles, itself, looked like it had seen much better days. and the economy has been hard hit by an absence of tourists and it shows.

We stayed here for 4 nights in July 2022 and absolutely loved it! The views from the panoramic deck overlooking the ocean are simply stunning. It's a great place for happy hour or dinners and is hard to leave! The location is perfect walking distance to multiple restaurants and a small grocery store is basically next door. The Beau Vallon beach is beautiful and a short walk away. The place was very clean and had almost every amenity you could want. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking your own meals if needed. The owner is extremely nice and responsive. There is also a driver Paul associated with the Villa who is excellent. He is very kind and helpful. On our last day he drove us around for the day and gave us a tour of the entire island which we highly recommend! One recommendation would be to spend a little extra and stay in the bigger 2nd floor apartment. There are 3 bedrooms that could easily sleep 6 and possibly more if ok with a couch or air mattress. Could not say enough good things about this place and hope you are lucky enough to stay here!
