We had a pleasant stay at the forest lodge. Nice, clean, spacious apartment with basic self catering facilities. Beds are large and comfortable. It is possible to walk down to the main beach, and we did so with a baby and toddler, but the hill is quite steep so we opted to take a taxi home (from outside coral bay hotel for 200rupees). Plenty of little shops nearby selling basics. The owner kindly gave us a lift to the port with our luggage for our onward journey. The only improvement would be to help with mosquitoes (of which there are many in the early morning and evening). The windows had been left open without nets on so we had some in the room. Providing a bug killer and netted windows would help.

Il Forest Lodge è una struttura molto accogliente. Le camere sono ampie, climatizzato e con una splendida terrazza che affaccia sulla foresta. A pochi chilometri dalla splendida spiaggia di Beau Vallon. Il lodge è convenzionato con un ristorante che offre una deliziosa cucina creola. Ottimo rapporto qualità /prezzo.

Мы попали в число тех граждан РФ, кто вынужденно задержался на о.Маэ (республика Сейшельские острова), в связи с отменой международных перелетов компании Аэрофлот с 8 марта 2022 года. Это время было для нас непростым и беспокойным, т.к оказались в такой ситуации первый раз в жизни. Всё завершилось благополучно, мы вернулись домой. Вы можете обратиться заранее и задать все интересующие вопросы. До пляжа можно дойти пешком (сильные перепады высот. Спускаться легко от апартаментов/подниматься может быть сложно. Рассчитывайте свои силы.) Если на машине-то вообще удобно. Близко находятся несколько пляжей. Один из популярных- Во Баллон(Beau Vallon Beach). Поблизости несколько магазинов, где можно приобрести все необходимое (в апартаментах была кухня, так что мы готовили самостоятельно). На машине можно доехать до Виктории и самого большого гипермаркета на острове STC. Там шире выбор, но бывают и цены выше...нужно сравнивать самим. В нем же есть обменник ) Если берёте в аренду машину на несколько дней- через Stephen можно попробовать договориться о скидке. Рекомендуем ехать на пляжи : Petite Anse, Anse Soleil, Anse Intendance (мой любимый). Если любите снорклинг-берите туда маски. Спрашивайте и читайте в интернете..в зависимости от сезона ситуация на пляжах может меняться. Хотим выразить огромную благодарность Stephen за отзывчивость и помощь во всех возникших вопросах. Мы очень рады знакомству с ним и его семьёй. Спасибо всей команде Forest Lodge за сервис и готовность помочь своим гостям в решении любых вопросов. Мы провели здесь более 14 дней(с 26 февраля 2022) и я могу сказать, что это место и эти люди любят своих посетителей. Stephen- золотой человек. Всей семье большой привет. Ещё раз большое спасибо. Hartelijk welkom, zeer schone en ruime kamers, mooi balcon, lekker warm water bij het douchen, kamers worden elke dag spic-en-span gemaakt, nieuwsgierige vogeltjes bij het balkon, lieve staf die s’ ochtens banaantjes brengen. Je krijgt nuttige tips over het eiland. De locatie is goed. Prima prijs-kwaliteitverhouding. Een echter aanrader.

Ottima location immersa nella foresta ed 10 minuti a piedi dal mare da una piccola spiaggia deliziosa. Market raggiungibile a piedi in 10 miniti. Pulizia eccellente e giornaliera. Accoglienza calorosa. Tutto perfetto! Grazie a tutti!
